Agree! I just migrated to Good Notes after years of using notability. I did so because of the ability to color code notebooks and backgrounds, that it’s very disappointing to not be able to use the same color palette for corresponding folders. That was actually the whole reason I switched.

Found these ideas on Etsy. Colored folders would be a great addition. Or add a feature that allows for custom folder colors like how we can import our own covers for notebooks.

I'm beginning to think GoodNotes is an another abandoned app. No changes in years. Definitely not any the GoodNotes community have requested. *sigh*

The fact that you can create different colored notebooks seems like it would be pretty simple to allow the change of color for folders. As a teacher I have lots of handouts that don't make sense to have in one notebook. Color folders or uploading an image for a folder icon would made me very happy!

This is so beneficial, I’ve honestly thought about switching to other note taking apps due to more organizational options. Notability allows you to color code the different sections which help differentiating between things but I don’t like their writing options so I’ve stuck to GoodNotes.

In Japanese, it is too difficult to distinguish one folder from the other when they have many kanji characters in common, such as “物理*受験*講座問題集” “物理*発展*講座問題集”.

Maybe using pictures from our camera roll is great, too.

Why is this taking so long? Even if you only give us 5 colors to choose from it is an improvement. I’m finding it very inefficient and hindering my work.

The ability to rearrange files in a folder the way you want by dragging them, different colors options for folders, a section in the app where you can actually create your own templates, the ability to import videos and watch video thumbnails on the app, movable transparent shortcut button on-screen to switch from pen to eraser, more options to import your own pen stroke style similar to procreate. If people can import their own templates for pages it would be awesome if they could do it for pens. And having the ability to edit your menu option would be awesome (people love the ability to custom their workspace). I can't tell you guys how many people I've convinced to get the iPad just to use your app in college and at work... literally hundreds of people.

I am literally begging you, GoodNotes, as a senior in college who has used your app for years to create the option to change the color of a folder. That's literally it. There are no customization options on GoodNotes, besides the color of your pen. PLEASE GOD
