[Apple Pencil Pro (squeeze) palette] Support toolbar customization
We all use different tools more frequently, and the new squeeze-to-display-palette with the Apple Pencil Pro is fantastic, but it isn't reflecting the new customized order we make in the top toolbar. And of course it should, it seems to me.

Why is the new eraser the third option in the palette, but the second option at the top? It's inconsistent and doesn't make for good muscle memory usage

With the new layout update, people with the ability to squeeze their pencils should be able to customize the layout to their pleasing.

Iād really love to have the option to rearrange the tools in the Apple Pencil Pro palette again.
Before the recent update, I could place the Lasso next to the Pen and the Highlighter right after which matched my workflow perfectly.
The current fixed order slows things down a lot, and customizing it would make the Pencil Pro experience feel much smoother and more personal again.Additionally, it would be great to have more than three Highlighter colors available in the palette or even the option to manually add custom colors.
This would make note-taking and color coding much more flexible and efficient. Please bring back the ability to freely arrange the palette tools and allow more customizable Highlighter colors! š

I for the life of me cant find any options to change or rearrange the tools, pens, lasso, insert etc on the quick tool palette when you squeeze the apple pencil pro. Ive consulted google and the goodnotes website. This must not be a functionality currently available.
I believe this would be a massive quality of life upgrade if it was implemented. I will detail why from my personal experience
I personally use goodnotes 6 almost exclusively for note taking and to write out mathematical formulas.
I have the ability to squeeze and select my fountain pen and my three custom presets. Which is great because it is the first option in the tool wheel upon squeeze.
However then i must scroll past the pencil (which i never use)
Then the eraser, (which i have double tap function to select anyways).
At this point none of the next tools or pens are visible upon activating.
Then the Highlighter, (which i never use, because the three presets of fountain pen are so much better!! <3)
Then the brush. (again i never use)
Then the shapes which i use semi frequently.
Only then do you get to Lasso which is the most op tool in the entire app.
Then you must go past stickers(useless for me), the insert picture (great feature but not needed with in my quick tools, Text box (same as previous)
Then I get to my zoom window, another Op feature and my third most used item in the app after fountain pen and lasso.
So ideally if we can change and rearrange my pen's quick wheel I would have the Fountain Pen, followed by lasso, and then zoom window.
I would then delete the rest minus ruler.
Please give us this feature I know I cant be the only person who wishes to customize their pens tool wheel to suit their uses.

Exactly! I personally use only pen and eraser, why on Earth would I need stickers, photos, shapes and all this clutter in my radial tools

I feel as if Goodnotes should recognise that when the Apple Pencil Pro is in use, the squeeze palette should replace the toolbar for writing customisation. This should allow for more real estate at the top of the iPad as well as make it feel like a pro feature for those that have the pencil. Also a good unique selling point for marketing more real estate as well as the squeeze feature in general.

Please allow users to change their pallet order for the Apple Pencil Pro Squeeze Pallet. I only use the pen and lasso tool, but to get to the lasso tool, I need to scroll over many items (the highlighter, pencil, etc..) It is very uncomfortable!!

The apple pro has a squeeze function which is incredibly useful to toggle back and forth from pen to eraser. I am very used to using this over the double tap function on a regular goodnotes document. However it is not supported when writing on flashcards. Please make this simple update.

It would be highly useful to be able to customize the squeeze toolbar to the users liking
In the same fashion as the toolbar in settings.
We could reorganize the toolbar in a manner we each personally like -

It would be very useful to be able to customize the Squeeze Control so that not only the floating menu appears, but for example to be able to change COLOR with the same tool. Since I know that you can change tools with the squeeze but enabling the color change would save a lot of time.
In addition, the option to improve writing added with iPadOS 18 in Apple's native notes app could be added, in this way the hand notes would be more readable.

Please also add a palm rejection/āSqueeze to dismiss the Paletteā toggle in settings.
The number of times the palette disappears because of some palm movement (Because I canāt rearrange the toolbar and āpen colorā is in the upper right, outside of normal wrist mobility) is so high I stopped using it.

I would like to be able to customise the tools that pop up when i squeeze my Apple Pencil, so that i can switch more quickly between those i need.
For example, I might want just pen, highlighter and lasso tool. -

I'd also love the current quick menu to be customizable. As a student, I never use the pencil option, and never use the eraser from the quick menu. I, however, use the pen, shape tool, and highlighter constantly. Having to dig for them is annoying. Love the app though!

I have an iPad Air 5th generation m1, I canāt use the pro palette function which really disgruntled me. I suggested a feature a while back suggesting an alternative optional wheel menu for the toolbar instead of the regular straight toolbar at the top or bottom, now I discover that this format is available but only for Apple Pencil pro compatible devices which is incredibly disappointing.
I really suggest expanding the wheel/palette format to the entire toolbar, pencil pro users can keep the squeeze feature and people who donāt use Apple Pencil pro would also be able to enjoy the useful palette wheel interface.

We need to be able to set more colors than 3 to the colors squeeze color section.
3 is just way to limited, this reminds me of the old Goodnotes where it took ages to get more than 3 colors in the top bar.... -

Make it available to customise the apple pencil pro palette to show the tools you want and so you can also choose their order, just as you can do with the toolbar. also make it available to customise which 3 colors you want to see also in the apple pencil paletteššš
