[Hyperlinks] Link other notebooks
please make a function to link another document within a document!!
I am making a short summary to study for my class final, I would love to be able to link a different document within my goodnotes folders to a specific word to have more detailed information
for example: my note says " - the sea is full of organisms", I then tap on the word "organism" and my notes on organisms I took during class pop up, because I was able to link them to my short summary
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your ideas! We’re happy to share that the option to create links to other documents within your Goodnotes account is already available.
You can currently add:
- Links to any external website
- Hyperlinks to any notebook or whiteboard from your files
You can add links to text in textboxes, stickers, and shapes to make your notes more interactive and organized.
For more details on how this works, you can find a step-by-step guide here.

Be great if we could add a link to shapes, images or stickers that would take us to other pages within journal

A feature would be great, which allows to preview the target of a PDF hyperlink upon mouseover. Such, the meaning of a reference could easily be checked (i.e. a citation, figure, or equation) without actually clicking on the hyperlink.

A possible phased implementation:
1. Make existing bookmarks (to other pages within the same GoodNotes document) accessible as tap-able, reposition-able text links on a digital ink (or PDF) page
- (via a drag and drop U/I which lists existing bookmarked pages)2. Enhance the drag and drop U/I to allow selection of other digital ink (or PDF) GoodNotes documents
3. Extend the existing HTML link capabilities to include outgoing X-Callback links to other (iOS &/or macOS apps)
4. Implement incoming X-Callback links built on top of the linking mechanism in item 2, above

I came to make this suggestions! With the growth in popularity for digital planners, it’s super irritating having to click out of the writing/edit mode to click on the hyperlinks.
Notability has it setup where when you use your finger to click a hyperlink a menu pops up to click the link (like the copy/cut/delete/etc menu).

There should be the capability of linking any note from one page with a note from another and being able to click on it and be redirected to the interrelated note .

There already exists the option to hyperlink typed text, which is great. But many people, including myself, primarily handwrite notes, and it would be very helpful to add the feature to select some handwritten text and attach a hyperlink to it, and also the option to attach a hyperlink to an inserted object, like an image.
On top of that, a fantastic addition would be to allow linking to other in-app locations, text or objects, whether that be clicking the linked text or object and being taken to the linked text, object, or location in the same notebook, or in another notebook. This addition would considerably improve the users ability to scale productivity within the app.
Happy to go into more detail if these descriptions aren’t sufficient.
Amazing app by the way!

I wish there was a simple hyperlink tool that can lead us to another page in another document. This way, we can quickly refer and navigate to the pages that complements what’s in our current page without disorienting their original arrangement. -

My Math notebook of this semester has 140 pages of which 20% are imported pages. The rest are handwritten by me on A4 scale.
I have got around 50 different outlines in chronological order and want to export them. The flattened version has 240 MB without outlines.
The editable goes beyond 400 MB and has outlines, but no text search. Why cant I just export my outlines on the flattened version? That surely must be possible?

This would be incredibly helpful. You can add internal hyperlinks with acrobat, but it would be very beneficial to do it within good notes.

There is a big request for it already

Also to be able to create an hyperlink that sends you to another page (in the same document or another quicknote) but still opens on the Goodnotes app without passing through browser.
I need to be able to hyperlink a specific sentence to a specific page on goodnotes. -

I am a teacher and it would be so great, if i could add links to external pdfs or other files to my handwritten lesson plannings and mindmaps. I dont want to import files. I just want to write for example „next chapter. hand out prepared sheet [link to sheet].“ and click on it. So I can use the idea later without the trouble remembering which sheet/file I need. Know what i mean?
AND: Hyperlinks within goodnotes. Links to other pages within one document and links to other goodnotes documents. That would be just: wow. -

Would there be a function that link to the same or different notebooks page?
I know it can be achieved through a 3rd party platform but that makes the note not flexible enough. -

I second this! A means to link between pages within a notebook. Or from one notebook to another.
