[Hyperlinks] Link other notebooks
please make a function to link another document within a document!!
I am making a short summary to study for my class final, I would love to be able to link a different document within my goodnotes folders to a specific word to have more detailed information
for example: my note says " - the sea is full of organisms", I then tap on the word "organism" and my notes on organisms I took during class pop up, because I was able to link them to my short summary
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your ideas! Weāre happy to share that the option to create links to other documents within your Goodnotes account is already available.
You can currently add:
- Links to any external website
- Hyperlinks to any notebook or whiteboard from your files
You can add links to text in textboxes, stickers, and shapes to make your notes more interactive and organized.
For more details on how this works, you can find a step-by-step guide here.

Allow users to add a hyperlink hot spot. So that if you tap on it, it takes you to another page/area.
This way you can create what seems like interactive mockups.

Keeping the Outlines on Editable docs doesn't make real sense !
We export flattened pdfs so we can consult our docs for later reading and copy / paste from any other computer / device. Outlines make sense in THIS CASE.
When you export editable pdfs, you can't select text to copy / paste and the doc is way heavier - this is true for BOTH handwritten text & text boxes !
The files are, in this case, useless for consult. So why would I need outlines in this situation?
This choice just doesn't make ANY sense !
Maybe it was easier, technically speaking, but if not I see no point in this choice ! -

There are so many duplicate ideas for hyperlinks the votes are not adding up so I'm submitting another one, hoping you will read this and combine to see the impact on the product requests!!
PLEASE ENABLE COPY PAST OF A HYPERLINK . I want to have a notebook where I copy paste hyperlinks form a website and I can then come back to my notebook and click the link to launch the website! Please Please Please!! This is such a critical feature if your trying to work in a single note app!

Create hyperlinks from within GoodNotes. It would be nice to be able select some text and create a hyperlink that you could paste into, for example, a table of contents or index.

Hello,
I am using Notability as well as Goodnotes 5..
I want to emphasize on the point that you should make it possible to insert videos in the notes itself or at least give an option of inserting hyperlinks to youtube or websites.
It becomes so much easy for us to click the link and open it there itself..
U need to seriously think on this.. -

It would be super helpful to be able to create hyperlinks that allow access to websites outside of GoodNotes as well as be able to link documents and bookmarks within GoodNotes.

It would be great to be able to create hyperlinks to other pages or websites and the option to flatten images, text, etc.

I see that outlines and bookmarks are preserved if you select "Editable" in the export options, but I would like these things to be preserved for "Flattened" PDFs too.
In other words, it would be great if outlines, bookmarks, and hyperlinks would be preserved in exported PDF when the file format is set to āFlattenedā in the export options.
This is because (1) only "Flattened" PDFs include the embedded handwriting recognition layer upon export, and (2) "Flattened" PDFs are significantly smaller (and don't lag in other PDF viewers, like "Editable" PDFs do).
Thank you so much!

This is one feature I do use in OneNote. I have a master page that contains all the links to my important items across notebooks and pages. Then I can have a nice simple clean Todo page with links jumping off to pages that contain all teh details or notes about the items.

This is one feature offered by OneNote that I would love to see here. In that application I am able to create a master page that contains links to important pages or notebooks for quick reference.

Even better - use Apple ānotesā method. Drag url from browser. Notes adds scalable thumb from site linked to url directly in note. Click on thumb and site opens in browser. Very useful using split screen on new iPad os.

Same interaction as Google slides for making different kinds of objects including images hyperlinks to slides (in this case internal notebook pages) and external webpages and allowing export to pdf that stills includes the links. Also, maybe take an aggregate count of votes of all feature requests involving the word āhyperlinkā because Iām seeing several pages of requests but most versions of the idea has a low number of votes...

Create links to other Good Notes pages using lasso tool - circle an item, tap, choose Link and then get presented with a view of all the pages available in the various notebooks. Choose one - and a link would be formed with the selected text

Create word hypolinks - To different page / book or internet
On selection of text or image, be able to turn it into a hypolink, from here give us the options to select a page from either the same book or a different one, or either insert a url which would load up internet browser.

Notability - you drag and drop a url in. You can then click on the link and open in a browser.
Goodnotes - it just copies plain text from the webpage. Urggh.

I take extensive notes in meetings and classes. I have digital textbooks, notebooks divided by topics, etc. My notebooks are often 100+ pages before relegated to āold contentā.
Problem is a lot of what I do has overlap and yes, the tabs help with flipping back and forth. But not when sharing my notes or reviewing them! A basic hyperlink system shouldnāt be too hard to build and integrate. Could probably even be set up customizable: either as a button system via the highlighter or a text selection.
