Recent Change to GoodNotes and Implications for Projections

Love the product and use it on both an IPad and Windows device.
There seems to have been an update recently to include a pen menu in its own little area. On the Windows device this new pen menu appears on top of the document and obscures the top part of the page.
I use both types of device for conducting classes and project Goodnotes on to a screen. With the new update the bottom 5-10mm of the document is no longer displayed by the projector. Is there a work around for this or will I need to go and edit all of my documents to move content away from the bottom of the page? This is somewhat frustrating as, from my perspective as a lecturer, the new update has decreased the practical utility of the product. I'd like to see this fixed.
