Auto-refine Handwriting
I’d like to suggest that GoodNotes add an auto-refine or handwriting smoothing feature that subtly corrects small imperfections in handwriting without changing the user’s natural writing style.
Currently, when writing with the Apple Pencil using the ballpoint pen, I’ve noticed that the strokes sometimes add unwanted flicks or extra lines at the end of letters, which makes the handwriting look less clean and natural, this is extremely irratating as on other app my handwriting doesnt appear to be like that. Even with the stability setting at zero, it still happens, and it disrupts the flow of writing, especially for users who write quickly or use cursive.
An auto-refine option (or an improved stabilization engine) could help automatically clean up these flicks and overlines while keeping the handwriting authentic and responsive.
It would be great if this feature could be adjustable, so users could choose how much correction or refinement is applied depending on their writing style.

exact idea. I found that there is a function that check the typo with red dot line and if I click it, it corrects the typo with a nice handwriting format. I love this feature. I came across idea that it would be great if my ugly handwriting is to be replaced by a nice handwriting feature if I click it. Please add this functionality to GoodNote 6.

I stopped using Goodnotes because they haven't introduced Smart Script. I tried it on the native Notes app and I can't live without it now. I'll consider coming back when that gets introduced.

A feature for automatic handwriting smoothing and beautification, similar to Apple’s Notes app, would enhance the handwriting appearance in GoodNotes, making it look more natural and consistent while improving the overall user experience. Especially for people with bad handwriting this would be a magnificent upgrade!

I had this same idea - I tried using the built-in iOS Notes app for a bit and I LOVED the handwriting clean-up feature. I liked how it kept my handwriting looking like my handwriting but just a lot more legible.
I would love to see an implementation of this in Goodnotes - especially if it's somehow possible to use the same algorithm that iOS Notes uses.

Please make a feature where your handwriting turns neater automatically into a font you choose without using text and you do this by using AI. MAKE MY HANDWERITING NEAT I BEG YOU I WANT TO BE AESTHETIIIIC

Similar to your auto-correct feature, this tool would recognize the handwriting and make it neater and more consistent.
It would not be the convert feature, which although very useful for the same purposes, requires time and effort, disturbs diagrams and mind maps, and is not as user-friendly as the refine feature in Apple Notes, which I have missed since switching to GoodNotes. -

I second this! Would love a "snap to clean handwriting" feature like the new iOS feature on iPad preview. I still prefer using Goodnotes for the additional features, but really wish the app had an option to turn on a cleaner, smoother handwriting feature.

I was coming to request this exact feature. My handwriting is legible, but when going back to review notes and study for my exams, it’d be really nice for it to be cleaned up with the “autocorrect handwriting”.
I love the consistency of the writing when my own varies a lot for me when taking notes during a lecture depending on how quickly I need to write something down. I’ve even misspelled a word sometimes to trigger the autocorrect.

Refining Handwriting.
Now that Apple has introduced Smart Script, it is now the most appealing reason for someone who doesn’t have great penmanship to start writing notes again. I see that others have also brought this feedback. I hope Goodnotes will implement something similar or better. It will be the only reason for me to upgrade.
