Currently, choosing a font is time-consuming, not efficient. There are so many steps to choose the font I need. The recent update made it worse.

Now, a tiny window pops up with the default chosen (never the one I need). I then select "Custom Fonts" and a larger window pops up. I go find say, Bodoni. Change my font. But I find I don't like that font. I have to highlight the word or words, the small window pops up again, I choose Custom Fonts again, then have to find another font from the beginning. I'd like it to default to whatever font I chose initially (the Bodoni), so I don't have to start all over looking for a font that works.

I am a font snob and choosing the perfect font for things is everything to me. However, with GoodNotes, it's so stinkin' time-consuming that it's more frustrating than fun.

Check out how Procreate does it. They do a pretty good job at font selection. It's impressive. Shows it bold, italics, etc. Gives a preview of how the font looks.

GoodNotes is such an amazing app, and I am confident y'all can master the efficiency factor for using fonts if time is given to it.
