Serious Overheating and Battery Drain Issues
I’ve been dealing with a persistent issue for about 8 months now, and it’s becoming a dealbreaker. My iPad Air 11 gets excessively hot and the battery drains at an alarming rate whenever I’m using Goodnotes.
This has been happening since the very first day I bought the iPad. I have already tried disabling the handwriting recognition and the dictionary/indexing features, but unfortunately, it didn't help at all.
I am very concerned about the long-term impact on my device. Constant exposure to high temperatures is detrimental to battery health and can lead to permanent hardware degradation. It's disappointing that a premium note-taking app hasn't been optimized to prevent this kind of thermal stress on a new device.
Is anyone else with this specific iPad model experiencing the same? Are there any other settings I should tweak, or is this just a known optimization flaw in the app?
