[Colours] Bulk recolour all handwriting in a selected colour
Like a lot of people, I prefer to write my notes on a black background which then makes it difficult to print. I use different colours in a single sentence to group specific concepts together, which is lost if I replace all the colour. At the moment, there are two solutions: invert the entire page, which makes the other colours funky, or use the lasso to select individual colours.
My proposal is to allow you to select all text, drawings etc done in a single colour and bulk recolour it to a new colour. This would let you preserve other colour switches you've done.
The way I envisage it working is that you'd select a single colour in your pens, and choose 'Replace' to replace everything that's that colour with the new one.
Hello,
Thank you so much for sharing your suggestion!
We're happy to let you know that bulk editing handwriting color is already available in Goodnotes.
Simply lasso-select the handwriting you'd like to edit, then choose a new color from the color palette to apply it to the entire selection.
Feel free to give it a try, and we'd love to hear your feedback on how the feature works for you!

Hey team, unfortunately that doesn't actually address the suggestion and was mentioned in my original post as to why it's not sufficient for my purposes.
If you primarily write in white and use blue and red for key words, for example, recolouring via the lasso select requires selecting every bit of white text while avoiding the blue and red - which is a real pain.
I've attached a screenshot of one of my notes pages to show what I mean. At present, selecting with the lasso tool would mean dodging every bit of non-white text as well as cause issues with the coloured boxes & highlighting.
My suggestion is adding a way that you can select all text in a single colour, without requiring manual selection via the lasso tool. Then the existing recolouring feature would work as usual.
