The new version made it much more inconvenient to type text in pdfs!
First of all, the new tool bar covers the content above the text box (photo 1). It was better when it was higher (photo 2) – I don't change the font that much, so this tool bar really annoys me. Moreover, being an online tutor, I often share my screen to show a book to my students and the floating bar worsens the experience and makes it difficult to look at the content above the text box (an important picture, in my case).
Secondly, in the previous version, I was able to choose the typing tool and press ANY part of the pdf file – the text box appeared EVERYWHERE. Now this box often doesn't appear on the page if you choose some specific parts, especially photos / pictures. I have to click several times or choose another – "clear" – place on the page and then move the box to the place I needed at first. It's just time-consuming!
Lastly, I need to choose the typing tool EVERY TIME I want to write in the new box. In the last versions, I just chose the tool, typed something, then pressed another place on the page and still was able to type something in a new box. Now I finish typing in the box, press the page and it goes back to the lasso, which I don't need! So, I have to go back to the tool bar above (which is already an extra action and an inconvenient movement) and start the typing process again. I often make small typing notes and there can be more than 20 text boxes on one pdf page, so clicking the tool bar every time is just ridiculous! (It doubles or even triples the number of actions I have to do every time I need to do several notes.)
I really hope you can bring the previous typing options back or make it possible to choose your preferable view (like a new or an old tool bar).
