I would like to submit a feature request regarding interactive PDF support in Goodnotes.

We are developing interactive PDF documents generated programmatically with LaTeX. These documents are intended to provide a much more interactive learning and working experience inside Goodnotes.

For this purpose, we would like Goodnotes to implement broader support for interactive PDF buttons and actions.

In particular, it would be very useful if imported PDFs could contain functional interactive buttons, for example to:

• show or hide solutions, hints, or additional content
• reveal content after pressing a button
• trigger different actions within the document
• navigate between exercises, solutions, chapters, or specific locations
• support interactive PDF form elements and buttons
• enable more advanced PDF actions beyond standard hyperlinks

Ideally, Goodnotes would support relevant PDF features such as Widget annotations, AcroForm elements, button actions, and other standardized interactive PDF functionality.

This would make it possible to create highly interactive educational materials, worksheets, textbooks, planners, and other documents that users can import into Goodnotes while retaining their interactive functionality.

Our PDFs are generated using LaTeX, so having documented and reliable support for these PDF features would also allow us to generate documents specifically optimized for Goodnotes.

Would it be possible to forward this feature request to the Goodnotes product or engineering team?

We would also be very interested in discussing the technical requirements or providing example PDF files and use cases if this would help with evaluating or developing the feature.
