Auto-Backup PDF: always include the imported PDF page background (and warn if it fails)
Problem:
When I back up documents built on imported PDF plans (A1 format), the Auto-Backup PDF sometimes contains only my handwriting, symbols and photos. The imported plan itself is missing. Other documents back up correctly, so there is no warning that anything is wrong. The .goodnotes backup of the same document is complete.
Why it matters:
Not everyone can open .goodnotes files. Colleagues and customers need the finished PDF (plan + annotations). A backup PDF without the plan is useless, and the failure is silent.
Suggestion:
1. Make Auto-Backup PDF always include the imported PDF page background.
2. If the background cannot be included (for example with large pages), show a warning or fall back to a complete export.
3. Optional: add a setting "Include Page Background" for Auto-Backup, as there already is for manual PDF export.
I can provide a good and a faulty example if needed.
