I agree with the comments. I am buying an iPad JUST to use notability's synced audio feature.

The feedback was back in Feb... and now it's already end of the year with no answer... at least respond to why this feature isn't available yet... I am really thinking to switch to Notability who actually takes use's feedbacks and respond properly unlike Goodnotes just shutting down all the requests like this.

This is insane. How can this feature NOT be live right now? We need this ASAP!!!! Please, goodnotes, move this to the top of the queue, can't you realize that it will bring you DIRECT revenue? This move will not only be for existing customers, you will attract an insanely amount of NEW ones, and all big portals and news outlets will make this mainstream! It's on YOUR best interest to launch this, work harder, the payday will be big!

how the hell do you guys manage to work on all the features that no one asks for like presentation mode but leave the voice recording feature that literally everyone has been asking for years untouched ? I'm going to try to return the app. this is an absolute joke. we've all been waiting for so long with false promises coming in every month telling us that the feature will eventually be implemented. It's been freaking 2 years now.

Really like your product, but need audio recording (and ideally sync with other input, like LiveScribe). Excited to hear you're working on it. Let me know if you need any beta testers!

I currently use Notability, but will probably switch to Goodnotes if this feature is implemented.

I downloaded this app cause a friend recommend it and now I will go back to notability because I can’t record audio.

Please add audio recording! This would make goodnotes the perfect note taking app. I love the layouts you have but because of the recording feature, notability is my go to during lecture.

Please add this feature asap! We would really love this feature for lecture and meeting note taking! Even though the voice recording may not be able to go with the handwriting progress like notability at the initial introduction stage, merely adding voice recording for a note would be a great advantage!

This is certainly something I would like to see. I keep the majority of my notes in Goodnotes, but don't actually take notes in lectures/meetings because this feature isn't available. Instead I use Notability for this function, and have to change between the two. I would much prefer to use Goodnotes only, and would need an audio recording function in order to do this.

This is ridiculous. The last update we have on this feature is 8 months ago. Yet, you've found time to work on stuff like a presentation mode? People have been asking for this feature for YEARS! It is the sole reason why people like me still use notability to take my in class lecture notes. Get on the ball.

Please include audio recording so I can fully use GoodNotes.

Adding to the comments here because I’d really like to hear an update. I use GoodNotes for my med school classes and I recommend it to all my friends above the more popular OneNote.

Still, I do warn them that other audio syncing note taking apps are at times better ESPECIALLY for profs that speak too fast or have a thick accent. We lose time rewatching lectures and for these purposes, I had to download Notability as well. I would love to see this incorporated into GoodNotes.

I like Goodnotes but I miss audio recording like Noted with Timestamps.

How did it take five years for you all to start working on this idea. This is a PAID app. I’m returning my purchase of the app solely because of your lack of listening to your customers. Many many many apps have this feature i know programmatically it could be difficult but if you structured your app well adding a app to it wouldn’t be too burdening. Also like I said many other apps already have this option. I’ll take an app that doesn’t let me organize my notes to the level of organization I want over an app that is missing the key component I’m liking for, synced recording.

GoodNess GoodNotes....people have been begging you for this feature for years at this point. Let me continue that pleading. Synced Audio PLEASE!!! :-)
