I use and love Notability purely because if the audio recording function. Nothing is missed out and making review much comprehensive.

The lack of this feature is the only reason I am not buying Goodnotes 5

Any Idea when you will add audio or if you intend to, I am about to purchase an iPad for uni and I want to go with good notes 5 but audio is the deal breaker for me Please could you advice.

I just don’t understand that a note taking specializing app cannot record audio. This audio needs to be in sync with the notes(words) written so that they will clicked during playback.

We can’t wait for the audio update (no seriously schools about to start!) please consider a highlighter that doesn’t make the text opaque!

Agree with others, Goodnotes has the best interface, but without the audio ability, I am stuck with onenote or notability. Goodnotes is the BEST for handwriting, search, organization, and aesthetic. But I am greatly benefitted from the audio feature, and having it all in one place. Would be happy to donate to making features like this a reality.

I really dislike notability compared to good notes but I am forced to make the switch because I need the audio to note feature. Please add this sometime soon!

I had to use notability for this workshop only because I needed the audio recording. It was a pain to take my notes, but I needed to use the recording because I did not want to lose any details. That the ONLY reason I used it. Please, add this feature your software is so easy to use, and the only thing lacking is the audio. By The way, if you need beta tester you Jen you come up with this feature, you can count on me. But yeah, please add audio recording. Notability is quite a pain.

Really hoping you release this feature before classes start back in the Fall. May need to switch to Notability for this feature during lectures.

This is a long awaited feature. This, and ability to create check boxes. When will you release it?

I wanted Goodnotes but got Notability instead - simply for the synchronized audio recording. One must wonder just how much money Goodnotes has lost by not having this function. It's a shame too because as far as I can tell Goodnotes is the better app.

Please consider making similar to metamoji notes.. it is really amazing...I have made use of it everyday

I'm shocked this still hasn't been added. It doesn't have to be complicated with search or anything to start, I'd literally be thrilled to just record n connect it to a note.

oh sad day - we need audio!

I’m a student and I use GoodNotes 5 a lot. During the use, I found that your application was a bit inconvenient when writing class notes and I hope you can add the ability to insert recordings and sticky notes. These two things are really useful.
