WE NEED THIS GOODNOTES, LISTEN TO YOUR END USERS!!

I agree that it would be extremely useful to be able to have audio linked to the notes that are taken, as well as being able to export the notes with the audio. I know that livescribe has a feature to save a pdf of the notes with an embedded audio track (of the recorded meeting/lecture).

This is the one major selling point for me and it's the only thing that has kept me from purchasing the app.

With sync, like Notability, more than Notes Plus.

This would be the best possible feature they could add in my opinion! Not having a recording feature is the only thing keeping me from switching from notability!

Yes!!! This will make the app perfect! I'm using both goodnotes and notability apps, as the latter providing recording and sub-folders..

When do you plan to add an audio option?

Please allows us to record during our note taking and also allow the note replay. For example like in the app notability they allow recording and it shows you writing notes while the recording is being played back.

I totally agree! I have to use two different apps to record and take notes during my lectures!! Please add this in!

I just wrote a post below NOT realizing the tons of other posts asking you FOR THE SAME THING as far back as January 2013, AUDIO RECORDING feature! You are not listening to your end users!

Get your audio recording feature and watch people heard over to switch from notability. I think Goodnote is a better app all around than notability, but without audio recording, it doesn't stand a chance. my recorder rocks.

hey goodnotes looks like a great writing app.
I canot tell you how way ahead you will be by adding an audio feature. I won't move from Notability till u do. Notability's favorite functions for me are
easy to write wth any stylus
great organize/note saver and search functions
audio notes. this allows me to see clients take notes but also save audio discussion notes in case I missed something great for students.
if notability gets handwriting recognition, I will most likely never move from it.
your features are awesome, not overwhelming but wo audio notes, sorry not ready to switch,, hurry get it going!

I have swapped to noteability purely because it records the audio...come on guys, surely it's an easy feature that would put you guys miles above the competition...

To record the classes

During lecture I like to record the prof. So I can listen to him when I get home. It would be nice to be able to have this integrated with good note. Where every slide has a little sound icon where I can click and see what's the prof said for that slide. So it's like a continue record feature but every time I go to the next page in the slide good note knows I've moved on and put a sound icon on the previous slide. Definitely add a pause button too.

Looking for the ability to record audio continuously, but to be able to organize it by page and have an object visible on the page that can be edited later for export to Evernote for example.
If the application can tag the audio as it is recorded and show a timeline of what page and what text is written that is great. If it can further let sections be clipped, even better. If it can then also let me pick an insert point and add additional audio, that's super. I'm picturing an audio timeline for each audio object that has hyperlinks to the notes taken and that the notes taken have hyperlinks back to the points of the audio (2 way references).

Ditto the record plus export audio.

I would like to record a lecture at the same time as to handwrite my notes. That way I can always go back to what the prof said in case I missed something. The app would be all inclusive.

The #1 item on my wish list for now, having just switched from Notability.
