The original pdf file has PDF all lies but when I take notes and Export it to another application, all PDF outlines are lost it, so I would like to keep PDF outlines
PS: i’m sorry to re-address the same request , but you all haven’t pay attention to the needs among us...

add smoothing for curves
like in illustrator when it automatically smooths curves. i am in organic chemistry and drawing a lot of reaction mechanims and everything looks stellar except for my shaky curves

A good backup option.
A good backup option. Studying and my iCloud got full. Backed up on box. But later lost most files. Please fix. Need a good backup option asap.

Allow background template colours to be changed
There are lots of comments regarding different colour templates. It would be great if the background colour could simply be changed whilst continuing to use the same template format. Either that or include a spectrum of colours for each template design so changing the paper template doesn't affect the notes already taken.

Please allow the ability to Embed videos and youtube videos as well as PowerPoint/word/excel documents
I use GoodNotes to create revision notes. The ability to add videos and/or embed online videos from sites such as you tube or Vimeo would be a great asset. Moreover, the ability to either link, or embed Microsoft documents such as PowerPoint/excel/word would also be very very useful. That way I could condense 25 thick binders full of info, into one place on my iPad.

Insert and delete blank space, select whole lines
For a fully functional editing of longer handwritten notes (with math) I miss inserting things in between (and conversely removing something erased elsewhere). Although tracing with the lasso tool the perimeter around a paragraph is too tedious, a selection tool that can select the whole lines (maybe snap to the text a bit) would be great.
Although an option for drawing only with Apple pencil but not with hand is needed.

When highlighter overlaps don't darken the overlapped area
Have an option in the highlighter options section to either be darker in the overlapped areas or not to darken the overlapped areas (consistant shade).
You will blow Notability out of the water once your upcoming additions are implemented!
It's already a top 5 app that makes the 12.9" iPad useful. Thanks!

see the exact size or fix a default size for zoom window
Hi, it would be nice if we could fix a default (preferred) size for the zoom window, or see the exact size so we can chose the right one for each type of document. I do not know if it is already possible.
For the moment, if I change the zoom window for some reason, I can't return to my preferred exact size after.I am sorry if this idea has already been proposed, I could not find it.

Todo management
I take a ton of notes and produce a lot of todos from meetings, etc.
OneNote had this feature 15 years ago whereby you would add a todo box next to the line of a handwritten note. It then had a todo notebook that would pull all of the todo boxes from all notebooks. I'm dying to have this feature. I've searched and searched and can't find the feature anywhere! Please please add this!!

Lasso Tool Features: Selection Issue + added features: move/resize, align text, thickness:line & text + highlighter & text colour change +
Selection issue: The lasso tool selection is always a problem as it gets de-selected. I think the lasso tools options can pop out when we click inside the selection region and could be de-selected when clicked/tapped outside selection area.
The move/resize: Moving sometimes have to be done by resizing the content. In my opinion, the selected region can have 2 small icons on left and right hand one for move option and one for resize option.
It is not possible to change the colour of highlighter when already done. it changes the colour of text as well. It would be…

Collection of annotations/highlights/notes in a pdf
Say you import a pdf file and only take notes/highlight/annotate on certain pages. It would be great to have a window/overview or something where you can see only those pages you wrote something on instead of having to look through the whole file :) (like in notability)

Math Requirements
Hi, these are my suggestions that I hope you will develop it in this app:
1- add Cartesian coordinate system because draw it every time is uncomfortable.
2- I hope that moving from one page to another will be from up to down not from left to right because that gives you sensibility of the connections between the pages or let this as an option in the app.
3- Support right-to-left languages such as Arabic, please. We are suffering from this.

Put pen color options to the magnified writing section
- During writing I need to switch pen’s color and thickness and this slows down me. Make available more than one pen with adjustable color and thickness on both trays at the top and in magnified writing area.
- When changing the pen s color ... I need to go all the way to top and adjust it , so I am losing time.
- After adjusting color and thickness this setting windows must be closed automatically so we can save time with this too

Live editing on different platform at the same time
I use GoodNotes App on MAC and IPad to keep my notes. However, when I need to use these two platforms at the same time, it will suffer because the syncing frequency is too low to immediately reflect what I edit on Mac on my IPad. Therefore I have to quit the app and re-open it to continue my work with Apple Pencil on iPad. Same happens on Mac when I need to insert a figure on the computer.
I understand that it will cost a lot of energy(much more frequent request by the application to sync the current work)…

add some html/linking in text
I've recently downloaded Goodnotes. The first thing I missed is that if I copy a link from Safari, copied the link info Goodnotes, and...... it became just flattened text.
