  1. “Clone Stamp Tool” Write once, as if many times

    A tool that allows you to set several ‘Stamp’ point, and when you write something, the same will appear from each ‘Stamp’
    This can make something easier, such as write duplicated words, or draw parallel lines

  2. Undo bug on MacOs Catalina

    Hello, there is a bug in version for the MacOs: 10.15.4.

    I am not able to undo anything, unless I add a textbook in the notes. That is, if I start to draw, then neither command + Z, not undo option in "Edit" do anything. If I put a text block on a page, then undo becomes available.

  3. Handwriting bold?(thickness?) control

    First of all, i'm not good at English.

    When I enlarge my handwriting, it also get bolder.
    I want to make it only bigger, not bolder.

    My suggestion is to change the boldness? of my handwriting (like notability)

    Add a toggle that just the start and end points of a line get connected
    Without it, lines often get crooked

  5. Add "delete page" to the "More" menu

    Simplify the "delete page" feature by adding it to the More menu. This would make the deletion process much quicker, logical (and easier to remember).

  7. Sync to do with Apple reminders

    Feature to denote a particular "to do" which will automatically sync with apple reminders across devices. This way, it rounds up all of the "to do" tasks in one spot and brings to your phone/other devices

    Apple Watch version. Even if it’s just to be able to see flagged pages that you can see quickly on the run or be able to dictate to a quick notes page that you can write up later when at your other devices.

  9. Import original image size

    Currently when you import or crop an image, it seemingly randomly resizes depending on how much you’re zoomed in etc. If you crop part of a full sized page, it will show the cropped part full sized after the cropping too. This is a very tedious process.

    I create a lot of sticker sheets with labels, icons etc. If I export them as separate files from my graphic software, I’d like it to be imported in goodnotes at the exact dimensions I exported them at. Mainly since my dimensions are based on the document I am working with, so a…

    Use the first handwritten line of a note as the default title.
    No need of typing when creating a new notebook.

  11. A lasso select auto copy like the image tool (+)

    The image tool has a long drag copy built in, I wish the lasso had that as well, I draw a lot of graphs and using the iOS Paste shortcut is hard, having the lasso work the same way as the image would be perfect

  12. GoodNotes planner that connects to iOS or online calendar

    Create an add in or separate app that looks and acts like a “Franklin Covey” paper planner, but is has the calendar entries from iOS or online calendars. The app would have the amazing handwriting capabilities and note taking options in addition to a planner.

    There are beautifully designed digital planner templates made for GoodNotes, but I haven’t found one that actually is linked or can be linked to a native or online calendar. Would pay for this type of app.

  13. Have the ability to see all your notes at the same time

    Currently, you can only see notes by opening one folder at a time. How about the ability to see “ALL” items that are in every folder. If you take notes all day and you file these notes in separate folders throughout the day, there’s no way to see every note your wrote in the day without opening every folder. If you have an “ALL” option, you will see every note you’ve ever written - no matter what folder they exist in.

  14. Scrolling option must be added to Goodnotes

    Respected Sir/Maam,
    I’ve been using Goodnotes 5 lately and I find it really useful, although there is something you could work on for easy accessibility across distant pages of a pdf file of lets say a medical textbook that has thousands of pages.

    You have provided a ‘Go To’ option but at times the exact page number is not known to us and this makes searching for that particular page quite cumbersome. It would be really helpful to us if you could allow an option that can allow us to fast flip across pages...quite the same as present in Adobe…

  15. More features for digital planning

    I use good notes for digital planning like many others and would love two things new inks such as glitter and metallic and a feature where you can change the brightness of a picture so it can become more of a background for the page

  16. Screen lock out for Exams

    For my exams, I have to print out all of my notes because I have access to all of the other apps on my iPad. It would be great if from the app, there was a way to have a professor set a password and time limit to lock me out of the rest of the iPad and prevent me from closing good notes so I could use this during an exam. Then, when you are done with the exam or the timer expires, the lock will end and you can then close the good notes app and use the…

    Having a way to select the entire screen quickly could be useful if you need to copy everything, change the colo(u)r and delete.

  19. Three fingers for clipboard

    There are shortcuts built in to iOS and iPadOS for copying and pasting which aren’t supported (three fingers spread out for paste and the fingers pinch for copy) which could help save time for both text and images, especially when using any tool.

  20. Allow Apple Pencil to hide toolbar

    Allow the Apple Pencil configurations to include double tapping to switch between the active menu bar and the hidden menu bar. This would quickly allow me to switch between modes when working in a document that has hyperlinks, which require the menu bar to be hidden.
