  1. Revert shape resize to what it was in the Goodnotes 6 version.

    Now, when the shape snaps, you can't edit its dimensions by dragging your pen, it only resizes larger or smaller. This is an issue because I have to change the tool to the shape tool to change the dimensions, and this has a minimum width. Goodnotes 6 had a good system where the shape snapped and then you could drag your pen to change the width/height of the box rather than just scaling it up or down.

    There is currently a minimum height that shapes can be using the shape tool. Please remove this feature!

  3. Let us record normally without requiring “record and summarize”

    Can’t figure out a way to record without the dumb AI features. Unknowingly used all my credits in the span of an hour because I couldn’t just record audio and it forced me to do the ai summarize too. So annoying

  10. Make Text Tool Sticky

    Text tool in GoodNotes 7 is not sticky. After adding text, it always switches back to the lasso tool. This makes it impossible to stay in text mode or to return with Apple Pencil double-tap/squeeze. Please allow the text tool to remain active like pen or eraser.

  16. About the new update, some old “move” can’t be use anymore which is annoying

    1. the drawing straight line correction, Maybe I draw a box but I sometimes I don’t need it to be too big, after update u fixed a minimum size which is not even useful, so as draw small triangle it minimum size is an isosceles triangle which I was only try to draw a better look, Delta for maths……
    2. Same problem to Arrow which is a triangle, I know you add new thing to show arrow but u should try try yourself I think it still need more update to be user funny, like I can’t even change to arrow’s aim…

  18. “Pencil Case” Tool

    I would like to be able to create my own preset of pens/highlighters in different sizes and colors. On the tool bar there could be a pencil case tool that allows you to add different pen and highlighter presets so you easily have all your favorite pens and colors in one place. This would be very helpful when taking notes in class, saves time switching color to color.

    With the new integration of Ai in Goodnotes, I would love to have the choice of Ai making a practice quiz based on my notes/slides presentation pdf you saves in goodnotes. I have two ideas:

    1. Ai makes practice questions based on your notebook and like the flashcards uses spaced repetition
    2. Ai can create a practice quiz, like multiple choice and matching
