Urgent – Missing Pages After iCloud Sync
Subject: Urgent Help Needed – Missing Pages After iCloud Sync + "Backup Failed" Message
Hello GoodNotes Support Team,
I'm experiencing a serious issue with iCloud syncing in GoodNotes. Two of my notebooks only partially synced—most of the pages are missing, and only a few remain. This happened even though the notebooks were fully saved before.
Here’s what happened in detail:
- I deleted and reinstalled the GoodNotes app to try fixing sync issues.
- After reinstalling, I started the iCloud sync again.
- However, the sync did not complete properly, and I keep seeing a red message in the upper right corner saying “Backup Failed.”
- The two affected files are missing most of their pages, but I did not delete them myself.
Steps I’ve already tried:
- Restarted my device and the app
- Toggled iCloud sync off and on
- Checked iCloud Drive directly
- Checked the trash bin inside GoodNotes
- Waited for hours to see if sync would eventually complete
This is extremely frustrating because the missing pages contained important study notes. Is there any way you could help me recover the missing content? Perhaps by checking your server logs or previous backup versions?
