  1. Zoom Window Improvements

    I use zoom window to write everything. I frequently use lasso to move things around the page and close the zoom window to draw graphs or other things. With the new update, I either need to open the menu and then click the zoom window or press down to open it. There are times where I'm in class and I need to write quickly and it slows me down more than I thought.

    Making the menu/tools customizable so that I can move the zoom window back to the top again would help so much.

  3. Changing Default Font TextBox

    After the latest update, I can’t find a way to set a default font and size for the textbox, unlike before when you can just click the icon and store the current font and size as default. Right now, every time you add a textbox, you have to start typing from blue, size 10, Modern font and change it manually.

    Stop making the app go back to the lasso tool. Every time I want a new text box I have to go back to the toolbar and select the text option. Before, you just tapped the screen and got a new text box. Bring that back.

    As a beta user, I surprisingly find that text mode is available for markdown format. However, when trying to copy what I wrote to other program like obsidian etc, everything ruined. This is a disaster for user who use different software in different platforms!!!!

  13. Auto-hide new tool drop down

    When choosing the tool , the new drop down bar stays there until you click it again to hide it. Can it be made to auto-hide after a couple seconds of not being interacted with?

    i.e. click the pen tool and the drop down for pen, eraser, pencil, highlighter shows up and takes up more space.

  14. Request for restoration of the recording function

    While attending class, I usually record the lecture and then study again at home by listening to the recording. However, after updating to version 7.0, the following inconveniences have arisen.

    I would like to see the ability to add a callout to a notebook page. This would be a small colored block on which text could be written or typed with an arrow or other indicator to a point on the page. This would be similar to a GN post-it note, but it would have an arrow associated with it.   17. I hate the latest version

    I like the old toolbar better. To me, it is very ineffective to have the toolbar split up how it is now. I also hate the text box menu being constantly in the middle of the screen; it is annoying and in the way. Also, in the zoom box, you used to be able to edit shapes, and now you can't. The highlighter tool doesn't like to do a rectangle; it keeps giving me an oval, even when I explicitly draw rectangles.   18. Move the Zoom Window feature icon back to its previous location on the Toolbar.

    Please move the Zoom Window feature icon back to its previous location on the Toolbar. After the most recent app update, the icon was moved all the way to the right on the Toolbar where the user has to swipe left in order to access it. Not only did this make it hard to find at first, it is highly inconvenient having to swipe left on the Toolbar every time I want to use the feature.

    I love the app and use it daily across iPad + Windows. But I’m hitting the same wall every single session: there’s no way to save separate, named pen color palettes for different contexts.

    My workflow swings between:

    White backgrounds (lecture slides, lab reports) → darker inks

    Black backgrounds (my own notes) → lighter/pastel inks

    Right now I’m forced to maintain one long presets strip and manually hunt/eyedropper colors each time. It’s slow, error-prone, and breaks focus. After months of this, it’s honestly pretty frustrating because color is a core UX primitive in note-taking.

  20. Please let me CANCEL the latest update. (9/29 Deterioration of Toolbar and Bookmark)

    I'm struggling with my studies right now because of the worst update ever.

    Things especially I want restored:

    ① Toolbar
    Please restore the history that was on the right side of the element, image, and sticker buttons (as shown in the image).

    ② Bookmark
    Please restore it so I can immediately see if a bookmark is attached in the top right corner, and make it easier to press.
    Also restore the bookmark section within the pages (as shown in the image).

    ③ Entire toolbar
    Please revert this area. This update brought nothing positive.
