Adding a keyboard shortcut for changing colors
I'm using a bluetooth keyboard with iPad when I'm writing and I find it really useful to change tools with keyboard shortcuts (instead of clicking the icons)! I think it would be better if you could also add a shortcuts for changing colors (for example command+1, command+2, command+3). I will really appreciate that and thanks in advance!

Please let me export my notes with both the outline and searchable texts
The problem I currently face when I export my notes in pdf format is that I can only export it with the outline preserved or with searchable characters but not with both features, which is vexing to say the least as both are essential for me to structure my notes.
It should not be a huge technological barrier for GoodNotes to break through,right? Thanks, I need this new feature stat.

Take a picture with iPhone camera instead of iPad camera.
For better usability it would be easier to use user's iPhone to take picture and it is a feature I need every day. (Apple notes app has the feature)6 votes -
Two languages in one notebook
I am studying Spanish, and I usually write the English translation of vocabularies in my GoodNotes Notebook. But the notebook can only recognize one of the languages which are sometimes a bit chaotic when I am trying to look for particular vocabularies. Thanks.

flatten annotations into a single "mega annotation"
There's similar ideas to be able to write over an existing annotation so you can selectively erase.
This suggestion is different
I want to be able to flatten an annotation so it's not enormous! I like to do a detailed drawing, and then I'm done! I don't need my exported PDF to be massive, and I'm not going to come back and edit.
By not flattening, the notebook gets quite sluggish!

A tool that allows you to set several ‘Stamp’ point, and when you write something, the same will appear from each ‘Stamp’
This can make something easier, such as write duplicated words, or draw parallel lines

Background color for text box - like post-it note
Ability to add a background color to a text box, so that it looks like a post-it note. Then, I could easily sort my ideas by color and get a high level snapshot. Thanks!

Deleting Pages in Scroll Mode
I request that the option of deleting pages should be available to the user while he is in SCROLL View Mode. Currently we need to go back to thumbnail view and then delete the pages .

A button to view all open notes
So there is an overview feature in safari that allows you to view all open tabs in the app as windows in rows and columns. I find that I have a lot of notes open at once.
If we could have a similar feature, like a button that gives us an overview of all the notes open, as well as seeing their first page. This would make navigation between open notes much faster and more productive

Bi-directional scrolling data structure

I'm new to GoodNotes, great job. Many thanks for this app!
Following is a feature request:
What bothers me is the limitation that you can only create pages in one direction. I have attached a PDF to you. Let's assume I have a notebook with vertical orientation (blue path). But now I would like to be able to add pages on the horizontal axes (green path). The export/print view is secondary for me. The optimal solution would be to branch vertically from the secondary pages again, etc., so that you can build paths if needed.

Allow Apple Pencil to hide toolbar
Allow the Apple Pencil configurations to include double tapping to switch between the active menu bar and the hidden menu bar. This would quickly allow me to switch between modes when working in a document that has hyperlinks, which require the menu bar to be hidden.

Lock orientation permanently
Have the ability to lock the app to always force a certain orientation. iPad OS is much more productive in landscape mode, so locking the goodnotes app would allow the use of goodnotes portrait mode without having to constantly toggle the apple orientation lock whenever I open and close the app.

Bring back the zoom window from GoodNotes 4
I love the new GoodNotes 5, but I miss the zoom window from GoodNotes 4. I liked how the zoom window had an undo button and the three color change boxes right there. When writing in the zoom window now, it’s a bit tedious to have to reach all the way to the top of the screen to undo or change color.
