Rotate without changing scale
I downloaded Goodnotes 5 because it promised I could rotate a selection. However every time I rotate the selection is changes the scale of it. Is there any way of separating these two functions. Or when you rotate that your able to lock the scale so it doesn't change?

TEMPLATES
As a student I like to use different colours for different subjects - I think pastel coloured A4 templates with both narrow and wide rulings plus a margin would be very useful.

full undo function
I though of adding a cover to my pdf but it replace this page of pdf with cover instead. I lost it permenantly. The undo buttom can't do anything.
Please add an universeral undo ability to undo ANY change to the document.

Add option to choice automatic compress image or not
At this moment, the higher resolution image will be compress to lower size after crop image. This compression mage some images looks like blur due to high resolution screen. Please consider other compression method / stop compression after crop option.

End-to-end encryption for document sync (even with manual transfer of the password)
To use GoodNotes in a company environment and to process confidential data, encryption of all data transfers is a must-have.
Use a standard strong crypto implementation to encrypt all data send via internet to BackUp or sync servers.
For me it is OK to enter the (strong) password on each device every time or to store it locally on the device. But the data on the external servers should be fully encrypted.
The system should be well documented and certified by external IT security experts.

Add customization of toolbox
The toolbox now has a set number of options, it would be useful for everyone if there is an option to edit the items in toolbox, so it can be customized to each individual use. For me I never use zoom or camera or text options, but I would like to have some extra pen colors.

Change default text color
I have trouble changing the color of text. Usually I have to write the text in black, highlight, and then change to whatever color I want. Sometimes I need to repeat this 3 or 4 times to get the color to change. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all. Perhaps its a bug, but it would be great if you could change the default color of text and didn’t have to repeat this process every time.

Notability somehow takes up considerably less amounts of space on the iPad compared to goodnotes. How can we optimise the data to maximise space saving?

Adjust Line spacing to the height of your text
This is an amazing feature notability has that is extremely welcome and needed in Goodnotes. The text function in goodnotes is flawed and if you don’t use the default 24 point, you are completely out of luck and text doesn’t line up with the spacings

Main folder sorted by name, others by date
Goodnotes 4 had the main folder sorted by name. Every subfolder could by sorted by name or date, according to my decision. I would like to keep sorted the folders included in the main folder by name, and being able to order every subfolder in a different way

cropping multiple pages and splitting the scanned pages in the middle.
When i scan a book , it is faster and more convenient to scan to pages together and we also get some black spaces because the size of the book doesn’t match the size of the scanner.
I want to be able to crop the pages (get rid of black spaces) and split the ‘ two page’ scanned page in the middle.
This site is doing the task but we have to pay for that

The different layers don’t print everytime!
EVERYTIME i print my page with foto’s and text, my photo’s are gone.. i Think its beceaus They are print in differt layers, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING. Sometimes it works when i send myself it page for page, somethimes iT works when i frist put it in iBooks
Plessers find something for this, i neef it for school so bad!!!!!!

Change Canvas Size of Imported Pages
It would be great to resize imported pages. For example, I import a lot of PowerPoint PDF pages, it would be nice to resize page canvas size to allow more room for sidebar notes.

Automatically index
To build a special tool (as a highlighter) that allows to highlight all the title of document and creates, automatically, the index of document in order to avoid manually creation titles.
