Automatic Fit to Width and Fit to Page(Height) when pinch to zooming in/out page.
Most of other viewers or handwriting app supports automatic Fit to Width and Fit to Page(Height) when pinch to zooming in/out page.
It will be awesome if GoondNotes 5 have this feature too!
For now it’s quite bothersome to zoom in/out to fit to width or page manually.16 votes -
Animations in PDFs with Notes
I have a feature request for PDF presentations with animations. It would be very helpful to have a button, that allows to perform the following three actions in a sequence:
1) Copy all handwritten notes on the current slide/page.
Move to the next slide/page
Paste all the handwritten notes at the same place as these have been on the previous slide.
This button would be very helpful for having PDF presentations in lectures.

Need function for Import pictures from Drive like Dropbox or Google Drive
I can't import pictures(JPG files) from Dropbox unlike Goonotes4. Could you improve it? Thanks.

Don't highlight over highlight
Please implement the feature to combine two highlights and to not allow highlight over a highlight. It drives me crazy every day if I mistakenly lift the pencil and highlight again.

Please implement a way to export notes to Powerpoint. Shapes should be converted to Powerpoint shapes, hand-written text should be converted to typed text.

Add the ability to lasso text, click on the lassoed word/section and add a reminder or an event to the calendar.

Hide the navigation bar
The biggest problem I have with the current version is that the navigation bar can not be hided. For older ipads, especially for 9 inch display ones, every bit of screen space counts, and the nav bar really takes too much space. So it would be really nice to allow users hide the nav bar while keep pen tool bar on display, just like hiding the nav bar when the pen tool bar is not open.

Set a “go to last page” button in goodnotes 5
In goodnotes4, this button is really useful! However, I can’t find it in the new vision, which confuses me a lot. Please set this button for users to go back where they viewed just now. I believe it helps many people.

Erase stroke should be use point to erase
Because there are big size of eraser it hard to use

Snap highlighter to text
I use Preview on OS X and highlighting is a pleasure on it because you can just select the text you want to highlight in the PDF by clicking and dragging (like you normally select text in a computer).
Similarly, it will be extremely useful for me if the highlighter tool automatically snapped to the text in the document instead of working like a sort of painting tool that draws in a straight line above the text.

Return the “Go To Last Page” action in the overflow (three dot) menu like in GoodNotes 4.
At base, Go to Last requires far less clicks compared to Go to Page. For example,
With Go to Last:
1) Click overflow menu
2) Click Go to LastWithout Go to Last:
1) Click overflow menu
2) Click Go to Page to highlight page numbers (“remember” what the last page number is because the number changes to the current page when clicked)
3) Type first digit (from this point forward one is interfacing with the keyboard)
4) Type second digit...and so on
