Easier access to files by making expandable folder/file list
Please i beg you it would be so much more convenient to have access to folders by having the option to expand on the left side of the screen like how the apple filing system works on files or finder. It is such a simple change i don't understand why it is not being implemented. thank you

Open document management
As a teacher I often have a lot of open documents, that are currently needed for the different classes I teach. When opening more than 4 or 5 files it gets difficult to distinguish between them without having to go back into folders.
The following features would help here:
- a dropdown menu to choose the file I need
- the ability to group document tabs
- colored document tabs similar to the new folder colors
- a visual overview option to see small versions of all open documents, similar to the overview of open GoodNotes instances for split view…4 votes -
Ability to turn off automatic bullet points and numbering
Whenever I type a number or hyphen at the start of a line, an automatic bullet/numbered list will appear and hijack my original structure. Can you provide an option to turn off automatic lists?

Change Email / Gmail
It would be great if you could change the gmail your account is linked to, so that you could have access to them in another drive. When I first made an account it was with my everyday email, now I have a separate one for business and school. Would be awesome if I could change it even if it was only allowed one time.

Copy text from screenshot/Image
New user, using Goodnotes for my Japanese studies, and I would benefit from being able to copy as text from images/PDFs I’ve inserted into notebooks, alternatively being able to select and manipulate text in an image the same way I can in Photos/Notes and other Apple Apps on iPadOS.

Inline handwrite replacement with custom fonts
It would be nice to turn on a feature to replace your handwrite inline with custom font you choose and replace it.

Resize tool DOESN’T anchor from the centre
When using the resize tool to resize images, stickers, text, handwriting etc… the resize tool anchors from the centre so when you pull it down at the bottom it will also shoot up at the top. This makes it hard to get it to the exact size you want as you can’t predict exactly half of how much bigger you want it if that makes sense. Basically just have options on all four sides to pull out or push in the image etc…

I would like to syncronize my notes with Samsung Notes in a Galaxy Tab 6. Notes on my Samsung Notes comes to Goodnotes 6 and vice versa.

Study set functions
Sometimes the answer on a study set is long, and there’s no way to highlight text of underline it in the answer. Being able to draw of highlight on top of the text as you would in a notebook would be much easier and neater!

Add the option to add a link to a recording to a page so that it’s easy to listen to recordings associated with certain notes.

Laser Tool
Laser pen .....
Doing rough Work with laser pen on document is good as a part of learning process
But the only drawback is it gets vanished too soon i suggest Good notes team to atleast increase its disappearing time to 5- 6 seconds instead of existing 1-2 second when apple pencil is lifted up from screen :)4 votes -
Write to text capitalization recognition.
When you are writing to convert to text it will not match what I capitalize. Only the leading letter of the sentence or phrase.

Problem: Unable to quickly type digital text in leftmost column of Cornell page layout template in Goodnotes 6 iPadOS app.
Why not use Microsoft Notes app feature where user can tap anywhere on the page or canvas and start typing to freely “drop/appear” text on any spot of the page? Apply this principle to Cornell page layout space - leftmost column (make sure text don’t get cut off by page lines - reduce readability).

More favorite text options
There is an option to save our favorite font and size of a text, I think it would be lovely to have multiple favorites so that there would be more text boxes already edited as a quick access.

Native Goodnotes App for Samsung Tablets
The release of Goodnotes 6 within the previous year, was great for the Apple ecosystem, but recently I have moved to Samsung and I have noticed just how bad Goodnotes 6 is on Samsung Tablets (I have the Tab S9 series).
A progress web app can never be for a note-taking app, native apps are essential for note-taking as performance with the Goodnotes 6 web app is bad.
The web app crashes often, the pen is laggy and most of the time my handwriting ends up looking bad comparing it with native apps like Samsung Notes, jNotes, Squid, and others.

Continuous page drawing
Please add an update or feature where you can continuously draw from one page to another. It would be helpful for students to connect ideas from one page to another.

Flash Cards Numbering and categorising
It helps to know if you see the number of the Flash Card when in Practice Mode.
And maybe add a feature, where one can categorise the flash cards when in practice mode. Sure, Uncertain, Don't know. This would help when reviewing a lot of flashcards so that if one only want to study the flash cards in chapter 3 that one can not memorise that well and not spend time on the ones one already knows.
