GoodNotes 5 v 6
I paid for GoodNotes 5 as well as the interim GoodNotes 5 upgrade. My app was upgraded to GoodNotes 6 during iOS App Store updates. Now I’m being forced to purchase a GoodNotes 6 subscription with a nag screen even though I’m running version 5. I suggest that you leave us happy version 5 people alone, stop holding our data ransom and avoid a class action lawsuit suit.

Ability to create flashcards directly from notebook
I currently create notes when working (in a notebook) and then go on to create flashcards for a topic - rather than creating flashcards directly from study material.
I use different software for flashcards but would reconsider if there was an easier (or more obvious way) to create flashcards from a notebook i.e. circle to select some text and add it to a flashcard the same way I can screenshot it

better way to organize elements
Can the edit feature for the elements have the same mechanics as when we move notepads/files?
Currently we get a teeny-tiny screen, and have to drag stickers individually, and click "done". This makes it really frustrating and time consuming to organize stickers, which sometimes get all jumbled on download.
It would be better to a) be able to select multiple elements and b) drag them to other collections if we want, c) on a larger or full-sized window, and d) to not have all the work undone when we click out of that window. Basically the same mechanics as the…

Changing linetype and thickness with lassl
It would be nice if we can change linetype (dotted, dashed) and thickness after selecting line with lasso like we can change color.
It would be so helpful because now if i want dotted or dashed line after i write or draw something i have to redraw it again. It would be nice to just select it with lasso and change line settings like you want4 votes -

MacOS change Toolbar
Hallo,
ich bin Lehrkraft und nutze ihre App in der Schule an einem digitalem Board. Auf dem iPad kann ich die Toolbar nach unten setzen, das würde ich mir auch für MacOS wünschen. Leider habe ich die Option nicht gefunden.Im besten fall wäre es so, dass ich nur die Werkzeugleiste verschieben kann ohne die offenen Dokumente

Improve the pencil feature!
The pencil is transparent and lacks boldness and clarity. When zooming out the strokes can appear fragmented, which diminishes the overall visual quality of the notes. Add some adjustable opacity settings to offer a more defined stroke.

Study set
I would love for the old function to classify a flashcard into different categories once I’ve tested myself (easy, difficult, very difficult, didn’t get it). Goodnotes used to have this option but it doesn’t have it anymore. I want a better spaced repetition algorithm for the study set.

Include LaTeX capabilities in Goodnotes for MacOS
Seeing that Goodnotes 6 has the capability to interpret/edit LaTeX obtained from handwriting in iOS, it should be possible to create new equations with the keyboard from a macOS.

Retain an active lasso tool when copy/pasting text
When using the lasso tool to cut/copy-paste images, pen, highlighter and shapes the lasso tool remains active after the desired paste action has been completed.
When the lasso tool is used to perform the same cut/copy-paste function for text, once the text has been pasted the laso tool is dropped in favour of the text tool.
Can the lasso tool remain the dominant feature after moving text please? I find myself inadvertently entering punctuation into the middle of text because the tool has defaulted without being actioned to do so

Lock shapes to grid
It would be amazing for technical sketching if shapes would lock to the grid when either drawing or using the lasso tool. Additionally the circle shape should have their handles for resizing on the top, bottom, left and right (always) instead of somewhere random. A „snap to center“ option would be also great, so you could e.g. center one circle within another one easily.

Change search notes highlight color
The search tab is really helpful but sometimes it’s hard to see the highlighted word I am looking for. Adding the ability to change this color to something brighter would be very helpful!

Provide different fonts in type section of Goodnotes
Apparently goodnotes 6 only provides 1 default font type in the "typing section",
I suggest goodnotes to provide different text fonts in goodnotes, such as "Times New Roman", just like in the textbox feature.
If this feature of providing different text font is also provided in the "typing section", this would be very useful, as some people are only used to a particular type of font.

Ability to hide ‘tab view’ when working on documents
currently you are forced to have this ‘tab view’ at the top of your screen that seems to be a huge waste of space when you are working on a single document and not jumping around. Please add the ability to toggle a ‘tab view’ so you can enter more of a full screen viewing mode. Similar to notability.

Synchronization through Goodnotes Account (between Windows and iOS/iPadOS)
As I am using Goodnotes daily for school work I often need to access transcripts at a later point when I am doing homework for example. Having the option to easily access my notes on my Windows PC while I am writing on another part of the page or even another page on my iPad would make working with Goodnotes a much better experience, as the collaboration feature often not works for me as intended and is a lot more time-consuming to do. Goodnotes Cloud Service Expansion
Is it possible to expand the Goodnotes cloud service to all users?
I read the page ( Goodnotes Cloud on IOS Pilot Program).On this page, the Cloud is only eligible for Yearly plan members...That is pretty sad 😢 What I am concerned about is I already paid for other cloud services. For iCloud,I won't pay a subscription.Meanwhile, I saw there may be invitations to upgrade iCloud to goodnotes cloud...hope that I am not misunderstanding, cause two statements are a bit contradict.
If this advice will be accepted in the future, It is convenience. Thank you.
