Resize image from corner or one side only
When resizing images in GoodNotes, the image always scales from the center. This makes it very difficult to align multiple imported images like sheet music pages. Please allow resizing from just one side or corner (e.g., like in Keynote or Pages).
This would make GoodNotes much more usable for music editors, designers, and people who work with imported documents. Thank you!

Add Page-Linked Voice Recording Functionality
Currently, the voice recording feature in Goodnotes records audio across the entire document without linking the recording to a specific page. This makes it time-consuming to locate which part of the recording corresponds to which page or note.
Proposed Improvement:
Introduce a feature that allows users to record audio directly linked to a specific page, similar to how comments or annotations are added.Suggested Functionalities:
1. On each page, provide a button to start/stop a recording specific to that page.

Being able to switch answer and question in studyset to improve studying
Sometimes you need to know the answer and the Question or the technical Term. It would be helpful being able switching it instead of having to make an extra studyset. You could always switch it back.

Apple Pencil Pro floating tool palette should support tool options popup
The floating on-canvas tool palette that shows up when I squeeze my Apple Pencil Pro should show the tool options popup when I double tap a tool on it, just like the main toolbar.

Turn off "summarize" AI feature request
Every Goodnotes file I bring up on my iPad has the (annoying) "Summarize" option pop up.... I do not use it, it would be great to have a "turn this off" feature. Thank you for making a great product!

undo button top left
Wouldn't it make more sense if the undo button was on the top right instead of the left? As a right-handed person, clicking on the undo button covers the whole screen and you can't see exactly what has already been removed. Its just annoying (goodnotes 6)

Elastic vector based lines path with arrows
It would be amazing to have vector based lines that are elastic, that could be editable and moved around after sketching the initial path. For the ends and mid points of the lines should allow user to pick arrow heads, circles, squares, etc. As an end type option the ability to connect to an object or photo, so if you move that object the line stretches to the new location yet the line remains edible.
The line corners should have adjustable arcs or curves that could be tweaked.

add categories of stickers
It would be nice to be able to separate libraries of stickers. I have a bunch that are for work other for fun and all the libraries get mixed up in the one single horizontal line. Would be nice if we could make categories of libraries to make the search easier.

Bugs, Long loading time fix instead of useless AI
The App loads for five seconds every time I switch from another app to Goodnotes that’s incredibly annoying and Please, Please fix this. Generally the App is really slow even on a fast device.
I think you should fix such problems first instead of inventing the 3rd AI feature or a nasty animated circle around the active tool. I mean wtf nobody needs this. I just want a working app.3 votes -

Too many ‘click’ or steps to convert text.
It takes too many steps to convert handwriting.
1; circle /select handwriting
2: tap circle, hope the menu comes up
3: tap the 3 dots button
4: tap convert
5: tap text
6: tap convert again
7: change font because the default settings don’t apply to converted textShould be 2 steps

2: tap a convert buttonIf it makes a mistake, you’d have to edit it anyway. So the pop up is redundant.
I know this is possible because your code is already ‘converting’ the handwriting in order to be able to spellcheck and search handwritten…

Laser Pointer in Voice recordings
I suggest for the laser pointer to show up in the notes when you do a voice recording. Not saying for it to stay on the page but would be nice to make notes such as circling something while a professor goes over it without the circle being permanent. Hence the laser pointer function.

Improvement of learning sets
I use the learning sets regularly and it's super quick. However, I noticed a few points that make it a bit complicated to use.
I would therefore like to give you some suggestions for improvement:
1. Mark cards: A function to mark certain cards that would be very helpful to find them more quickly (like with QuickNotes)
2. Search function within the flashcards: It would be really nice if you could search for specific words within the learning sets, like with the documents. With learning sets with over 100 cards and the small preview, it is almost impossible to quickly…3 votes -
Improve audio recording navigation
I love the new feature that highlights notes along with an audio recording, but I think it would be even more useful if it worked the opposite way as well. I mean if there was a way you could select your notes and have the audio jump to the section of the audio clip that corresponds to those notes. If this is not possible, maybe adding something that serves as a marker so that you can tell which audio clips correspond to which pages in your notebook.
