1. Study on Notes

   I want to use my note as a one session study. I mean I have mathematical equations to solve but I don’t want to copy paste them to another page or deleting my original solutions. So I want to study mode as when I press to that mode I can do whatever I want then when my studying session is over it can reverse everything I do.

2. Memory use

   I would love to have the option to see how much memory the respective file uses. The best would be a function to view the files that take up the most memory so that you can delete old files that take up a lot of memory.

3. Airdropping Goodnotes 6 pages to someone with GoodNotes 5

   When I airdrop a Goodnotes 6 file or page to someone using GoodNotes 5, it crashes down and the folder to which the page has been added can‘t be opened any more. Especially at school this is a big problem - all our pupils use GoodNotes 5, some teacher use Goodnotes 6. And now I can only airdrop pdf files, which does not allow the children to move around bits of text. Please make the two versions compatible.

4. Diversification of photo cropping capabilities

   I think it can be produced efficiently if there is a function of dividing pictures by inserting several lines when cropping pictures

7. Add audio to document

   Introduce the ability to insert an mp3 audio into a document. In this way, in case it was not possible to register with the application itself, I can have the registration and the document all in one file.

8. Add option for a tool wheel

   I am seeing people migrate to drawing apps for note taking more and more now, I am a student.

   The app “Concepts” is drawing app that has lately been covering note taking capabilities as well. They have 2 options for their tool menu:

   A “linear” toolbar (like the one on Goodnotes 6) and a tool “wheel”. The wheel expands to a wheel shaped color palette when picking colors

   Goodnotes needs to implement this option for people who want more space to navigate and take non-linear notes (like mind maps), while also keeping the regular toolbar (for people who who use Goodnotes for more linear approaches in note taking).

   “Concepts” utilizes this wheel design but falls short in its potential use cases. This is because the menu, which is designed in a very spatially efficient way, only expands when selecting colors.

   If Goodnotes had this feature, but instead allowed the wheel to expand for all tools (not just color selection), a lot of people would be able to take notes with faster navigation since the expanded wheel would be able to turn when dragged by the user to select the desired tool.

   For example, you could divide the wheel into multiple layers/rings, which have slots that can be used to store pen preferences.

   Say, I would like a dotted 0,45 mm ball point pen. I’d simply have to tap the wheel on the pen selection tab (and maybe this could also be implemented as a 2-3 finger tap shortcut), the wheel would expand to the rings/layers in which I stored my preferred setting, and I simply select it.

   Colors could be selected in a similar fashion.

   The wheel would be moveable for optimal spatial efficiency, simply by dragging it.

   In “Concepts”, if you drag the wheel to the side, it turns into a regular toolbar. In the corners, it behaves like a wheel.

   The menu designs used in the “Concepts” app can be found in the images attached. The images with the overlayed window of pen options, can be reproduced by tapping a tool selection tab, like selecting a pen. Like I said before, this menu design (second picture) could be more efficient if it was part of the wheel like the color palette.

   Goodnotes should turn this menu into separate rings which expand from the core of the wheel.

9. Regroup text drawn arrows as one

   It would be great to have an option to regroup hand drawn text as one chunk of text.

   How i see it: When selecting a chunk of hand drawn arrows, we would have an option to regroup the selected vectors and merge everything as one chunk.

   It would be much easier to move things around.

10. Please re-instate Flashcards in GoodNote 6!! (...while keeping Study Sets)

    The Flashcards of GoodNotes 5 have now been removed in GoodNotes 6 and replaced with Study Sets, but Flashcards have a lot of advantages compared to Study Sets:
    1 . You can have an overview of Flashcards in thumbnails while seeing both the question and the answer (in Study Sets you only see the question). This helps with studying and having an overview of the set to see if it is done correctly.
    2. The questions and answers are easier and quicker to create in Flashcards by writing and cutting and pasting as fewer steps are needed as the flashcard is immediately editable (in Study Sets you have to press edit every time for both question and answer, which takes up lots of time - if you do hundreds of study sets cards it takes forever)

    Study Sets are good for other reasons especially for studying, but Flashcards are really so much better for the creation of the cards and having an overview of the set.

11. Application Update and Cloud Sync Impact

    iOS apps normally update automatically as they become available. For some reason GoodNotes does not do this and the user either a) discovers that notes no longer sync across devices and/or b) discover app needs update by digging into the "About" panel. Normally iOS app updates are minimally impactful but I have now seen GoodNote cloud sync break twice and require manual intervention by user to discover the issue and manually update, I would like to suggest that Goodnotes adopts the process of most all other iOS apps and automatically update in background to minimize user impact.

14. Plus de flexibilité avec les objets dessiné, rangement des dossier

    On travaille beaucoup avec des formes géométriques, et avoir par exemple le centre du cercle, carrée, etc.., des flèches ou angles, serait bien.

    Les dossiers ne peuvent pas être ranger comme on le souhaite, c’est dommage.

15. Multiple language recognition

    Hi as a good note user, i have using it to learn more languages, me personally in my region of country does not provide specific language. So i learn language from different language for example i learn German from English Speaker Tutor. It would be helpfull if good notes 6 can detect 2 language recognition (or more)

16. app for smaller than 8 inch android

    I use Samsung S23 ultra and there is no goodnote available on such small device. When do you plan to launch it for smartphone with pen? I have it on my Samsung tablet and desktop win app and I m very confused that I cannot use goodnote on my smartphone too.

19. There is an issue with my iPad where when handwirting with the apple pencil, the last thing I write erases without me doing anything.

    Because there is no way to contact your company, I am putting my issue here.
    The newest version has an issue on my iPad that while handwriting with the apple pencil, portions of my writing erases without me changing pencil types. If I use the redo button, it will back up to what I just wrote. I have all the latest updates of the app and iPad installed.

    I'm a good note user of Windows.
    I'm currently using Surface Pro, and I'm using the third generation of Surface Pen. Currently, the Good Note for Windows supports the noose function with a side button. Please make it possible to customize the function of the side button. Side buttons can be customized with various functions such as changing an eraser, changing a pen type, and changing color, not a snare. I really like the ability to use the eraser on the back. If I can customize the side buttons I want, it will be a more perfect note for windows. Please take my opinion. Thank you.
