A more efficient update mechanism is needed
Goodnotes for Mac is constantly being updated, which is great, but the current method of v6's update is a 1.6gb (and counting) full application download every single time. This is absurd. The entire Office suite updates in total are far smaller than that. Not everyone has giant, unlimited pipes to the internet, so please design an update method that doesn't require full app downloads every few days.

Navigate with one finger when using Apple Pencil to write
Since the app can tell which inputs are from the Apple Pencil and which are from your hands, why not allow navigation with one finger(instead of two) while using the Apple Pencil to write? It'll be much more intuitive and efficient

Remove the feature where you squiggle to erase.
It doesn’t differentiate between a squiggle to erase something, and my handwriting. I will be writing notes and suddenly half or all of a word is erased.

Save intermediate result in ministure mode
Sometimes I want to take a break of learning my flashcards. But thats not possible. If I stop the ministure mode, my intermediate result isnt saved and everytime I want to start again (on the same day), all my progress is gone.

On Macos, the crosshair cursor is blinking (switching between the crosshair and mouse ) very fast when writing which is annoying.
On Macos, the crosshair cursor is blinking (switching between the crosshair and mouse ) very fast when writing which make me feel annoying. This problem happens on both gn 5 and gn 6. I notice that it happens when i click my mouse on another application and then switch to goodnote again

Android viewer
I need a way to view my notes on my phone. I'm on Android, but I'm sure this is similar for iPhone users as well. I don't always have my tablet or laptop with me, but I often need access to my notes. I don't need to be able to edit them - just view them. (Although, it would be nice if I could add a text comment via the phone so I could edit the notes later when I have my stylus handy.) Thank you for considering my idea.

side menu for easy access
It takes time to navigate through goodnotes. I much prefer a side menu bar like in onenote. With goodnotes 6 i hoped for this feature, but it is limited. I would love to maneuver easily through my notes, instead of manually clicking myself through my notebooks back and forth…

Me gustaría que la app tuviera la opción de seleccionar un texto y ponerlo en mayúsculas o en minúsculas (como word o canvas). Porque muchas veces me ha pasado que quiero escribir algo en mayúsculas y olvido ponerla en el teclado y debo borrar y escribir nuevamente pero en mayúsculas

Recall/Study Mode
Imagine having a 'Recall/Study Mode' where you can use a specialized tool to highlight text, and once highlighted, the text vanishes, leaving a blank space in its stead. When you click on that blank space, the hidden word reappears, and clicking it again conceals the word once more. Essentially, it transforms into a mini flashcard or fill-in-the-blank feature!

Wider workspace for PDFs
The ONE major thing OneNote has over Goodnotes is that the workspace acts more like a desktop where you have the document you are reading, and the notepad NEXT TO IT where you are taking notes. Yes, I can open a second window in Goodnotes (which is awesome), BUT I want the notes next to the text. All you’d have to do programmatically is place the PDF document in a wider container. This has been a major frustration for me as a Masters/PhD student forever. I can’t be the only one who wants this feature.

I would like to set my predefinitions for the text box, it’s really inconvenient to find the color that i want every time in the personalised section. I’m accustomed to my predefinitions for the pincel tool, so I would like to maintain the same ones for the text box.
