Multiple features from GoodNotes 4
There are multiple features that I used daily from Goodnotes 4 that are non-existent in Goodnotes 5. I know you said that the Airplay display features are coming but since I only used Goodnotes while Airplaying this is a big deal for me.
Also there is no option for importing/exporting to other cloud based storage (google drive, OneDrive for business, Dropbox). I used these with the automatic backup feature (also non-existent) everyday in my classroom. Link and Sync internal Goodnotes text files inside notebooks (Drag & Drop)
It would be amazing to be able to drag and drop our own Goodnotes text documents directly into our notebooks to embed them as a live, linked file.
When organizing materials, it is much cleaner and more comfortable to paste external texts, update definitions, and format paragraphs inside a dedicated text file rather than directly in a standard notebook. However, when it comes to studying, we absolutely need the notebook environment to highlight, draw arrows, and write handwritten annotations.

Space around edges of the page
It is very frustrating when I want to see the page as a whole by zooming out, but then the page automatically snaps to the edge of the screen (or on top against the toolbar). I want to just see a small buffer space to help visualize each edge of the page. It’s not ideal that I have to add a page above to try and see a full page with its edges. I want to see it as a page view, not pageless.

Formatting updates broke note consistency
How about you stop changing the layout/form or how thing work. You make it impossible for me. Always changing how tu bullet points are laced out, the padding, saving the default text. Now half my notes are laced out differently and worse form the other half. Genuinely inconsiderate. Making so many unnecessary changes.

画像への注釈機能についての要望
現在、画像の細かい部分に文字や注釈を書き込む際、画面全体を大きく拡大する必要があり、小さい画像の場合は特に書き込みづらく感じています。
可能であれば、画像をタッチすると画像自体が拡大表示され、その拡大された状態で直接注釈を書き込める機能を追加していただきたいです。
また、画像に書き込んだ文字や注釈が画像と一体化し、画像を移動・拡大・縮小した際にも、注釈が一緒に追従する仕様になると非常に助かります。
現在の仕様では、画像に注釈を書き込んだあとに画像を操作すると、注釈が画像とは別のオブジェクトとして扱われ、画像の背面に回ってしまうことがあり、少し使いづらく感じています。
画像と注釈をまとめて扱えるようになると、資料作成や画像へのメモ書きがより快適になると思います。
今後のアップデートでご検討いただけますと幸いです。

Is there any plan to add an automated feature that tracks changes and compares versions when importing edited PDF essays back into GoodNotes? It would be incredibly helpful for students.

Add a wavy/squiggly line option to the Shape Tool
I would love to have a feature that allows us to draw wavy lines (squiggly lines) automatically using the Shape tool. Currently, drawing them by hand looks messy, and using text boxes or stickers is inconvenient. It would be extremely helpful for underlining and emphasizing key points while taking notes. Thank you!

Expandable Sidebars, In-line Folding, Selective iCloud Sync

As a heavy PDF user who relies on Goodnotes daily for intensive studying and research, I would love to propose a few feature requests that would drastically improve productivity, document organization, and storage management.
Here are 4 feature ideas I hope the community can upvote and the dev team can consider:
1. Expandable Sidebars for PDF Annotations
The Problem: Margin space on standard PDFs is often too restrictive for detailed note-taking.

Revert how connected lines work
Before the last update, connected lines could be selected individually which allowed drawings to happen easily. However, now all connected lines are treated as one object so it is now physically impossible to actually edit any singular line diagram you make. This is horrible because if u make 1 mistake and accidentally connect a line to a line diagram and delete 1 singular line, you delete the entire line diagram, which makes mistakes that are old enough to not simply “undo” permanent. Before this, you had more freedom and lines worked better.

Change Pre-Written Stroke Settings
Please give us the option to change the stroke settings on pre-written notes. For example, if I am able to increase the stroke width of a note that I've previously written without having to expand the whole thing, that would be amazing. I would be able to make cooler notes and tend to forget to change the size when moving on to a different topic or sub-subject, for example.
