Enhanced Post-it Functionality: Searchable Handwriting & Note-Taking
Currently, Goodnotes does not support searching handwritten text on post-its, limiting their usefulness. Adding this feature would greatly benefit learners by allowing them to quickly find key ideas. Additionally, post-its should serve as more than just comment bubbles—they could function as dynamic, movable notes, similar to Heptabase. Users could categorize, search, and transfer post-its across pages or notebooks, creating meaningful connections between ideas. This enhancement would transform post-its into a powerful tool for organizing and linking knowledge across different subjects.

I think a feature that allows us to change the language of notebooks would be helpful because I started mine in the wrong language and now can’t change it

0.1 단위의 미세 조정은 눈의 띄지도 않을 정도로 작은 변화입니다.
물론 스크롤을 움직여서 1포인트 단위의 조정이 가능하긴 하지만 1포인트를 조정하기 위해서는 아주 작은 움직임을 줘야 해서 원하는 숫자로의 조정이 너무 어렵습니다.1 vote -
Bild automatisch ausgewählt pfui
Wenn ich ein Bild einfüge und darauf mit dem Stift schreibe, wird das Bild ab und zu automatisch ausgewählt und ich bewege dann automatisch das Bild anstatt darauf zu schreiben. Das passiert mir seit der neuen Funktion dass man das Bild auswählen kann indem man darauf mit dem Finger klickt, anstatt dass man wie vor dem Update auf das Bild Ikon drücken muss, um ein Bild zu bewegen/ zu verändern. Bitte diese alte Funktion wieder einführen!

[Tape] Transparent Tape Cursor
The tape feature is great but sometimes applying the tape can be imprecise due to the cursor blocking out what is below it. Often part of a word is peaking out from the tape. This could be solved if the cursor where transparent or even another shape like a vertical line

A way to save more presets for brush size / color
Allow users to create more presets that they can switch between for different notes (for example, as it's shown in the picture, a menu where you can choose which one of the presets you saved you want to use: Biology, Chemistry or English; the presets can have different brush sizes or colors saved)

Open file options
I see “More Sort options in library” in the frequently requested features, not sure this will include the option of “most frequently used” and “Recently opened” options, wish they will be there. Thanks

Import MS PPT with the original font and animatio
When I try to import ppt created in MS PPT it seems changed the alignment of the texts, and the font changed to the default device font - but this works in PPT in the same device. and if there is an option to show the animations like in ppt it will be better. because as a teacher I use Goodnotes as presentation in my video class. and the laser tool is very use full for the students. and if there is the animation option also included it will be more use full and engaging. Thank you.

Landscape ppt page size auto adjust to rest of my a4 notes size.
Please Goodnotes add a feature that will automatically adjust my class ppt file pages( which are mostly landscape sizes - not a4 which I love using) to rest of my a4 pages size. Or even vice verca ( a4 to landscape). In Freenotes I could have done that easily. I loved goodnotes writing experience so I had shifted here but now I have to entire convert first my class ppt pages online or in freenotes from and then add to goodnotes. What's the use of having a paid app. Please please add this feature, it's almost a basics feature needed.…

Option to only download documents from the cloud when needed
I feel like there should be an option to A) always keep documents on device & the cloud or B) just the cloud and only have Goodnotes fetch data when needed from the cloud. It's annoying how Goodnotes takes up 5GB of storage on my phone when it's not the main device I use to take notes on and only really use the app on my phone to review stuff for an exam - I don't even use most of my notebooks on my phone! 有時匯入的文件會有內建的pdf大綱，雖然可以勾選掉，但重新打開該文件又要去操作一次關閉pdf大綱，開開關關浪費很多時間。希望讓每個文件的顯示大綱能夠客製化，讓關掉pdf大綱之後下次打開是自己再去勾選顯示pdf大綱才會再顯示。

Use hand-drawn symbols such as stars etc to bookmark a region of pdf text.
instead of interrupting reading workflow by requesting user to bookmark a whole page with extra clicks, allow user to use predefined handdrawn flags (stars, exclamation mark etc) to bookmark a region of page (or whole page). Provide a dedicated tab in preview to quick go to these areas.

‘Printout’ pages in imported PDFs as moveable images + embedded file icons
Have the ‘printout’ function like in OneNote that automatically coverts the pdf pages into images lined up on your goodnotes page. This could also come with being able to embed larger files into the page as a single icon, rather than having all of the pages take up more space in your actual notes.

Sync.Only One file in iCloud
I have the problem or rather the suggestion that they introduce it to upload only one folder to iCloud. I use Goodnotes for school and have the problem that I have to upload all the documents from the last few years to iCloud so that I can see them on several devices. Actually, I only want to see the current folder on other devices. But now my iCloud storage is full and I can't synchronize anything. My suggestion would be that they introduce the ability to synchronize folders in the iCloud so that the iCloud storage is not exhausted.

Dear GoodNotes Team,
I recently subscribed to GoodNotes 6, hoping to take advantage of the improved writing experience, especially with the pencil tool. However, I was disappointed to find that I am still unable to use the pencil as I had hoped.
I would love to have the ability to manually adjust the pencil’s sensitivity to better match my writing style. Currently, the default sensitivity does not feel natural to me, and having customizable settings would greatly enhance my experience.
