1. If the feature of adding flash card to the same page of a book is given it will be good.

   Like we are pinning a flash card to a book and we can write on the flash card while we study on the same page, then we can hide the flash card if needed. And whenever needed we can open that flash card by touching at that specific site.

3. Dynamic document to edit it's content

   I suggest to develop a tool to quickly increase or decrease white spaces in between text lines to add or delete content in the middle without manually shifting the lower contents up or down. this is very efficient especially If I have multiple pages. so all content move across the pages seamlessly.

   I do hope in the future updates, goodnotes would allow us to view images on pdfs with jpeg2000, if adobe acrobat could do it, why can't goodnotes do it as well?

11. flash cards

    There needs to be an overhaul on the design layout of the flashcards. No matter if I use my iPad Pro, my MacBook Air, my iPhone, or a 34" monitor for studying notes, the flashcards are barley visible.

    such a good tool and idea rendered almost useless by the design...

    Enable Apple gestures (think Procreate). Having a fixed toolbar (which doesn’t always respond to Apple Pencil 2 on iPad Pro!) is poor UI design for iPad users.

17. Adding the Link to a document which also is saved on goodnotes

    I don’t know whether this is possible, but I think it would be great if one could add/link a document into a notebook.
    But not in the way that you would have to get through the pages but for example, you‘d see the icon of the document or document folder on the page in your notebook and when you click on it, the linked document would open up.
    This would be especially great for word documents, since I sometimes write something into a notebook but I don’t like the text box option. Having the option to link the document, I could have a quick look onto it and then close it again without having to close the notebook. It would be like a post it on the page, just as a whole document.

    I don’t know whether this is possible, but I think it would be great if one could add/link a document into a notebook.

18. Create stickers at the middle of screen rather than the middle of the page.

    When I zoom in and add sticker, it will go out of the screen and create in the middle of the page, so every time I have to zoom out and adjust the scale and position of it. It’s quite annoying.

19. Make popover behavior for image tool and elements tool more consistent

    Elements tool:
    Tapping its icon in the toolbar will show a popover which is anchored to the icon in the tool bar.
    Tapping anywhere on the page will show a popover that is anchored to the tapped spot on the page. No blue placeholder symbol indicating that an element will be placed there.

    Image tool:
    Tapping its icon in the toolbar will show a blue placeholder symbol in the middle of the screen and a popover which is anchored to it.
    Tapping anywhere on the page will show a blue placeholder at the tapped spot and a popover that is anchored to it.

    I’d suggest also showing a blue placeholder symbol when inserting an element.
    Also, I think tapping a tool in the toolbar should have a consistent effect. So maybe it would be better to have the image tool popover anchored to its symbol in the toolbar too.

20. Make selecting and editing objects faster and easier

    This applies mainly to the situation when I am using an Apple Pencil.
    Let’s say I want to resize and reposition an object (image, shape or element).
    Right now, when a tool like the pen or the marker is selected, I have to tap and hold the object with my finger to bring up the edit menu. Then I have to select "Edit" to select the object and make it editable.
    Or I have to switch to the image, shape or element tool in the toolbar. Then I can tap the object with my pencil (or finger) to resize it or to drag it around. If I want to, for example, crop the image, then I need to tap it another time to bring up edit menu.

    That’s a lot of tapping and changing tools. I think this could be a bit faster and easier.

    Just let me tap an object with my finger to select it regardless of the tool I am using at the moment. Also bring the edit menu up immediately when an object gets selected. That’s the way Apple’s Pages does it.

    When using your fingers to draw instead of the pencil, you could just touch an object with two fingers to select it.

    This applies mainly to the situation when I am using an Apple Pencil.
