Mac Version: Having Multiple tabs open just like the app.
Being able to have multiple documents open at once on the desktop version for mac would be so incredible useful for school

Summary of real paper sheets saved
I think it would be a nice add to the app if, every month or year, we would receive a summary of the number of real paper sheets that we saved now that we use digital ones. After some time, it could also tell us how many trees we saved or how many we could save in the future if we continue to use the app. Overall, this could be a good way to promote Goodnotes with friends or family!

I already bought the app for 179000VND. But now I can’t use the app. And I need to pay 179000VND to continue edit my note. What is that? Why didn’t you mention it in the first place??????? I’m trying to be polite

Make changing pages easier (swiping)
Currently it takes quite a bit of effort to swipe between pages in Goodnotes. I think this was possibly a conscious choice but it has been this way at least since Goodnotes 4. Swiping takes a large travel distance on the screen by the user’s finger, and not just the velocity of the swipe. I feel like the interface should line up with Apple’s native page swiping feel (think pdfs in Books or the App Drawer).
The current threshold to change pages makes sense for adding new pages, but it makes swiping between pages more difficult than it needs to…

Custom SVG/PDF template import
There are many great templates included in GoodNotes, but many times none of them are right for the format or type of notebook I'd like to create.
It would be great if there would be some sort of page template design import ability. For instance a vector design of a template page in a SVG or PDF format.

Auto Advance Window Improvement
I feel that the auto advance window is a bit annoying, when you are concentrating on making your handwriting readable and it just moves on when the blue box is on the left.
I would like to improve the box by putting the function as an icon or enable when the zoom appears, so that you can enable and disable it rather than going to the setting of documents.
Also, it would be nice if the blue box for auto advance can be top or below the whole document within the zoom, as you can have option of switching top…

quickly move horizontally
Among the basic apps, if you look at Books, there is a scroll that allows you to move quickly along with a horizontal preview.
However, in good notes5, vertical scrolling is required, but you can move by pressing the scroll button.
In horizontal scrolling mode, you can only move one page at a time.
If this is improved when writing in landscape mode, not only vertical scroll users but also horizontal scroll users will be very satisfied.

Issue with pen and highlight color
I initially had a custom pen color palette with no problems. However, after I decided to delete my colors and replace them with newever colors, my palette always resets to the old custom palette I had. I constantly lose the new colors I create and this occurs for my highlighter colors too.

Ability to Transfer notes to a newer version of a document
Every time a new version of the same script (film/tv) comes out, I would love to be able to transfer my notes and additional pages to the new script.

automatically match page dimensions while adding new page
It is very annoying to have an original pdf where original dimensions are larger than the default A4 pages of goodnotes.
If I want to add a blank page to take supplementary notes, I have to struggle with that.

Virtual Notebooks
I'm using GN intensiv and missing one important feature: Virtual Notebook(s) based on a search. This feature should be similar to the intelligent folder in apple mail. I'd like to define a search by keyword as a Virtual notebook. This will help me to quickly get an overview on all pages wich belongs to my key word(s). Having multiple virtual notebooks will help me organizing my self even better.
It should be possible to read and write in the virtual notebook. Adding a new page should optional add a text box with the key words.Use Case: I'm using GN…

Choose starting page for page numbering
When importing pdfs the page numbering starts on the cover and pages like the contents page are counted which means on things like textbook the page numbers don’t match up with the book in real life which makes it hard to work with especially in class

Fix selection tool weird behaviour
When drawing/writing something without lifting the pen, so in one line and then using the eraser to split it in half as example, the selection tool still handles the now separate objects as one.
As shown in picture 3 both parts are moved although only one is selected.

Mac toolbar expansion
Clicking the toolbar in the GN5 Mac app expands the window to large view, and clicking again returns it to standard size.
Basically, quickening the time it takes to widen the GN view WITHOUT actually going into FULL SCREEN mode.
Should be a quick fix.
