For better goodnotes(presentation mode, detailed and neat theorem)
Good Note is really good and I use it very well, but I have an opinion for a better note. For example, when I am studying English and try to write the meaning of an English word, I sometimes have to write the meaning very small in the English study materials because I don't have space to write the meaning in the English study materials. In case of this, it would be nice to have a function that allows you to see the meaning of the English word that I entered in advance by pressing the word. And if youโฆ

[Sorting documents] Memorize sorting criteria by folder/file list
It would be useful if Goodnotes could retain the preferred sorting criteria by folder/file list. Personally, I prefer by type for lists of folders or lists of archived notes, but for long list of files including some files which I use daily, I would prefer by date. Right now, I have to manually switch the sort criteria each time I access the different lists.

Screen Reader Compatibility
For some reason, whenever I upload a pdf to Goodnotes on my iPad, I loose the ability to use my screen reader to help me read the text. This is really awful, as I rely on my screen reader to help me get through my readings for school. I love the flexibility of Goodnotes' highlight, page marking, and page searching functions. This one extra layer of compatibility or trouble shooting would literally make the difference between excelling and falling behind in my classes :/.

Single page view for Mac
I love being able to create notes on my iPad, but review them on my iMac desktop. Just like in Preview.app for the Mac, I would like to be able to select a single page view, two page view, continuous scroll view, etc. I'd like the window to just show one page at a time as I resize the window. Thanks!

Vertical page view: make scrolling faster
Iโm using vertical page view. No matter how fast I scroll (ipad, with a finger), it a fixed speed. This is not the case with native scrolling, in a webpage for example or a pdf file.

Ability to add a buffer of white space around imported pages so we can add extra notes.
When importing pptx pages, scans or PDFs, the page size is exactly the import size. I would like the ability to resize the page to a template so we could add notes in the margins.

Pens
I know there are several posts like this but I think it would benefit ALL users if we had more pen choices. I would definitely understand if thereโs a reason as to why thereโs only 2... but I canโt think of one and as this IS a note taking app. Since this replaces the pen and paper method,I would think it makes sense that those creating/updating GoodNotes would want their users to have the most realistic writing experience when using the app. If using pen and paper, there are far more than 2 choices to write with and digital noteโฆ

Easier, simpler lasso tool
In this app the lasso tool is almost flawless, exept when you use it to copy an image from one note to the other.. you have to take a screenshot and then drag it or copy and past, when you could just lasso it and all those option would appear as floating options and we wouldnt be moved to a new page with only the screenshot of the image. Think about it ;)

Full Slideshow Support for PowerPoint with Animations
I would love for the App to support full presentation mode for Powerpoint slides with all the animations and transitions
with the ongoing pandemic, online classes are quite common now and teaching online requires an excellent app that can be used to stream to students.
it would so awesome to combine the annotation capabilities of good notes and combine that with Microsoft powerpoint for awesome presentations to students.

Text Improvement
The text should write perfectly on the notebook lines, no more awkward spacing. The angle of the text should be allowed to be manipulated as well. There have been times where I have wanted to put my text vertically or at an angle.

New to ipad, had to test GoodNotes5 against Notability
Sorry, i really think that good notes was the best app overall to writing and using as notebook, but there's so much more user friendly features in notability that i cant live without.. and i used both apps arround the same time. Ill say the features you could had to make this app simply perfect:
โ the lack of a dark theme unless we get system wide dark mode is a bummer as i find your dark theme pretty good but i hate to use ios in dark mode

Mac Remember Window Size
On the Mac, make the app remember the last window size. It always open too small on a 1920x1080 screen.

Toolbar palm rejection/change position
I usually write notes using the zoomed window at the top of the iPad because I consider more comfortable to rest my wrist on the glass than on the border of the tablet. Due to this position, I often tap the color/thickness/undo/redo/new page controls with my wrist. Could it be possible to have both the zoom window and the toolbar at the top or maybe near the zoom windowโs one, or to have a touch rejection feature that disables the toolbar when the Pencil or the wrist are touching the screen?

Choose documents for device or cloud
I wish to be able to choose which documents to share to devices, and which to leave in the clouds. I want my planner on my phone and iPad, but I donโt need my notes from work on my iPad.

Sync with Google Drive (not Auto-backup)
My intended primary use for Goodnotes is to markup PDFs. These PDFs are already organised in Google Drive, and I would like to edit these files directly (rather than having the edited versions saved elsewhere).

Notebooks shortcuts
I want to be able to add shortcuts to certain notebooks so I can get to them faster. I know I can use stars but then they are all in the same location. I want to add shortcuts in different folders.
