Full screen mode
The GUI has a lot of "lost space" - especially in landscape mode. Would be great to have the full screen for a sheet of paper with a rearrangeable toolbar. Would be extremely helpful for iPads with 9.7 or the upcoming 10.5".

Another vote here. Full screen would make the reading and writing experiences more immersive by far.

Hiding toolbar can make the iPad more like a real book while using GoodNotes.
It would be great for people who always use it to make note (like me ). Wish full screen mode can be make as soon as possible. -

I'm using the app on my IPhone, so, it would be great to hide the toolbar.

Would love to see this. I like the other ideas suggested, to hide/show with 3 or 4 finger tap. And to have a mini dock for the most used items (customisable ideally).
I tend to use the double-tap gesture on apple pencil 2 to switch between pen and eraser which handles most of my work. The only thing useful to have as an extra is highlighter pens to quick select. Otherwise the rest can be hidden.

A good approach would be the Procreate’s one.
Touching with 4 fingers to make the top bar appears and disappears.

+1 full screen is a MUST have.
also having a moveable/dockable favourites bar of pens should be added like this.

Common guys, Have a fullscreen mode while writing. Much of the space is wasted in the menu and tool bar

It's annoying not having a full screen mode when writing or, at least, having a option to hide the toolbar. Please, let us have that!

Fullscreen in writing mode please! Flow by Moleskine has a great three finger tap to hide and show UI. Would love that here too!

Hey guys, u can reach the full screen mode by activating the “read only” mode (icon circled in the attached file) and then just tapping once the screen.

The lack of full screen mode makes the app less than useful on my iPad Pro 11” - looking at switching apps or upgrading to a 12.9 or both...

This would be more than helpful. I spent $1,000 on an ELMO doc cam and $1,500 on an iPad Pro to have redundant options for teaching a college math class. I've been using computers 50 years so I'm not a Luddite. Rather I'm continually bummed that the computer revolution has gone so slowly. Here, a physical sheet of paper doesn't move or resize till I tell it to, and there are no distractions in the visual field. It is plainly idiotic to subject one's audience to controls they don't need to see. It's like when someone makes a presentation, has no idea how to go full screen, and the audience is tittering "what a moron" as they see private text messages pop up on screen. Moral: Don't get cute on ANY features till you'll successfully replaced the physical equivalent, a sheet of paper. I'm moving on.

This is really frustrating indeed. Right now with GoodNotes almost 25% of the total screen real estate on an iPad Pro is taken by menus, tools and general clutter. Please let me know if I’m missing something and having the paper go full screen is an option. I have found free apps on the AppsStore that can do this sadly.

Yep hiding the toolbar so you don't activate tools accidentally when writing at the top of the page would be ideal.
