Templates! Flyers, Outlines, Planners, Calendars, To-Do's and Template manager
Create more templates that are quick and easy to edit and change. Make a template management system or folder.
Make templates for Work, School, Business, Time Mgmt, Expenses, Budgets etc.

For GoodNotes 5, we created new paper templates and covers, including calendars, to-do lists and more. Also, it is now easier than ever to manage your paper templates and add custom ones.

GoodNotes is already an amazing note-taking app, but there's always room for improvement! Here are a few suggestions I have:
Add more paper template options - Lined, graph, music sheet, and other page layouts would be great. Customizable templates would be even better.
Improve the lasso tool - Make selecting and moving sections of notes easier for quick editing.
Optimize for larger iPads - Take advantage of the bigger screen real estate on 12.9" iPad Pros.
Enhanced organization - More notebooks, dividers, sections etc. Plus easier rearranging/sorting of notes.
Integration with more apps - Tie into more productivity apps like calendar, reminders, etc. for an all-in-one experience.
Collaboration - Shared notebooks or the ability to collaborate on notes with others could be very useful. https://www.typecalendar.com/templates -

I use templates from https://onplanners.com/daily-planner-todo-list
Writing down a to-do list takes just a minute and saves you more time than that. Creating a clear (and realistic) game plan for what you want to accomplish helps you tackle your day, so you don't get bogged down in the unimportant details that eat up your time. The payoff: less stress and more time to enjoy the coffee you just poured.

I agree, a Connection to Calendar would be great!

I make my own as do so many. Make a PDF and import it to goodnotes. Goodnotes even workes with hyperlinks.
This is the best feature of goodnotes if you ask me.

You can currently import templates, but it is difficult to manage. As OP says, there is no proper template management/organisation system. There is no proper sync of templates across platforms (not possible to import on OSX, when imported on iOS, does not show on OSX etc).

There are millions of templates out there and you can easily make a template by yourself using ms word for example. You can import every pdf out there as a template.
It'd be really nice if dynamic templates could be used instead of static pdf/png files. -
