I purchased the Mac App long before the IOS app. When i purchased the MAC app, I found little to no use for it. However, more recently, I got the apple pencil and saw SO many incredible reviews. So, I got the IOS app and was blown away. It is truly incredible. I notice that the updates are very frequent for the IOS app and takes care of any issues a user might be experiencing immediately. What I also noticed was that the MAC version of the very same app has not been updated since the end of July. Its very clear that the the IOS app has become extremely popular. The users needs (specific to the IOS app) have been addressed with each and every update. While I can appreciate prioritizing the IOS app above the MAC app, it does not diminish your responsibility to acknowledge the users needs for the MAC app itself. Allowing the app to access the system fonts is not a difficult update, yet so many users have requested this feature and it has not been implemented. As of late, I have seen language indicating that the mac app was a mere "viewing companion" to the ios device, which it was never described as before until the rise in popularity of the ios app. I have paid for both apps as many of your other users have and I do not feel its appropriate to just write off the mac app as a companion. At a minimum, the ability to add shapes and access system fonts should be taken care of immediately.
