Scroll PDF vertically
It is nice to be able to go to the next page going down instead of going left. It would also be nice if scrolling down to the next page continuous without jumping to the next page, so you can see the bottom of one page and the top of the next page.
Vertical scrolling is supported in GoodNotes 5. It can be set in the … menu of a document or in the document settings.

Specifically, I use the engineering graph paper and would love for it to scroll continuously-- maybe in both x and y directions.

I use Goodnotes at college, so a notebook for a particular course can be rather long (~ 100 pages). Those are almost always devided into chapters.
I would love to see an additional feature to add a new chapter to a notebook by scrolling the page up. So that in the final notebook you can scroll through pages horizontal and vertical trough chapters.
I hope you get what I'm talking about. -

Please add this feature. This is the only feature that keeps me from using your app consistently.

Provide an option to make it is so that when you scroll down a first page, the top of the next page is revealed. Also, when you are working at the top of the next page, you can see the bottom of the previous page.

I hardly believe this awesome app doesn't have this basic feature.
Some languages including Japanese are read RIGHT TO LEFT. Horizontal scroll runnig always left to right is not really cofortable with this. -

Yes! this is exactly what I'm looking an app - AND NO OTHER APP HAS THIS FEATURE YET.
Because I would like to use this app SOLELY for note-taking and not for annotating some pdf that already have text, this feature would be crucial. I can write a rough draft by hand this way and then have the ability to complete the handwritten text by inserting more handwritten passages where I need them EVERY NORMAL WORD-PROCESSING program, like Microsoft Word allows this (by trivially pressing "Enter" a couple of times until you made space to insert new text), so it would be great if Goodnotes could do this too!

This feature is a MUST HAVE. Please add asap. I use Notes Plus more often because it has the vertical scroll feature available. If you added this, your app would definitely surpass all of the other note-taking apps on the app store. This feature is quite literally the only thing missing from your app.

As I'm editing a page on the iPad, I look at other pages in the desktop app. It seems that the desktop app can have only one window open per notebook, and that window shows the pages in a vertical scrollable sequence. I'd like be able to open multiple desktop windows, each containing a single page from that notebook, so I can look at specific pages and arrange them on the screen without having to scroll back and forth.
Related to this, I noticed that when a notebook sync's from the iPad to the desktop app, the desktop window scrolls back up to the first page. If the desktop window stayed on the same page instead, it would be already quite helpful to me.
Very nice app! Thank you for your consideration.

Ugh!! You can't scroll vertically/continuously? Looks like I just wasted my money on this app. Everything else looks nice but this is a deal-killer.

I definitely agree! this is the only reason why i might switch to OneNote... I would really appreciate an update, this can't be too hard to develop.

1. Some authors publish books in ePub format, but not PDF.
2. With other apps, by turning the iPad in horizontal/landscape mode, the page & font will be bigger. Many times I need to read in landscape mode, but I can't do that with GoodNotes because the page & font will be smaller than it is in vertical/portrait mode.

Swiping to change pages is very unnatural, a scrolling function is much more natural.
When Studying from PDFs it is incredibly frustrating having to swipe to the left to get a new page, I lose my place often and my notes are inconsistent, Please add this feature. -

I use the virtual keypad for note taking. Please allow the page to scroll vertically above the keypad to display the bottom of the page for added note taking before advancing to the next page.

Make line feed insert optional. The user might want the software to insert line feeds according to the handwriting for lists, but might otherwise want to manually insert line feeds into the converted text.

I use Goodnotes to sketch some plans, but I use the typing text feature to write my quotes because it's easier to read them after. The problem is that there's only one typing orientation. It would be great to have the ability to rotate a text box to write horizontally or vertically...

The bamboo fineline stylus does not work 100% correctly on the iPad Air 2. Extrange wiggles appear when drawing diagonal lines. No problem with vertical or horizontal lines. Thanks!!! Your app is excellent.

I had a great semester teaching with goodnotes, but this was by far the biggest issue. Students that are copying the notes need me to wait a few moments until I go to a new page, and the bottom of the screen is hard to see. A continuous vertical scroll would solve both problems.
In any case, thanks for the great app!
