Customize the positioning advancement / movement of the writing text box when I click on the Carriage Return icon - today it puts too much vertical spacing between written lines. I would like a bit of overlap to the line above (I write small).

Continuous scrolling down as you right with a dotted line at the end of each page. So that you can keep writing as well as keep page Breaks if you Wish to use page breaks.

Japanese, as it may proceed to write from right in vertical writing to the left.
In that document, it is difficult to read in the normal scrolling direction.
So, I want options, such as can move to the next page in the swipe of right from the left.

Would it be nice if we can have an option to place Toolbar on the left or right side? (Especially iPad is in landscape mode) Then we would be able to select a menu in toolbar by a free hand with more easy and faster switching while another hand is busy in holding a stylus and taking notes.

Please add this. The students at the back of my class struggle to read the bottom third of the screen because there are too many heads in the way – so this space is effectively unusable unless I can scroll the text up.

Allowing a continuous vertical scroll (like in Notability) would make this a perfect app for me.

Continuous vertical scrolling is indeed required.
It becomes difficult to write as you get close to the bottom of the page.

100% agree with this--one of my few requests that could make GoodNotes better!

For example to label vertical axis.

Oops I guess I diluted this suggestion by posting in favour of an expandable page - infinite page size is soo good for creative thinking - there are other apps that do it but their handwriting implementation is light years behind good notes. Please please add infinite/expanding/continuous page size!

A icon that enable or disable guide lines over the paper template. In the settings of this tool the user can define how much horizontal and vertical lines will be displayed, the spessure of the line and the color.

Pages are a bit outdated on the ipad - I could see an excellent structure by section - each section is a scrollable page.

I couldn't agree more! It seems like such a simple thing to include (I base this on the fact that other 'lighter' apps give you the option). I would definitely give this app a 5 star review if this was included.

Can you add a continuous page for note taking that we can later create page breaks. Also please add the ability to insert or delete lines.

2) add indentation function
3) being able to have different text size in one page
4) able to type in text directly on the lines in the ruled paper instead of needing to add text box every time( this makes the notes look very untidy and the ruled paper loss its meaning)
5)automatically move to a new page when the current page is full instead of writing beyond the margin endlessly
6) being able to scroll down to new pages vertically
7) after typing a whole paragraph, if having typed sth wrong and press the 'undo' button, the whole text box just disappear.....
8) add a 'redo' button next to the undo button

not just that , if the pdf also auto fill screen for easy writing , it will be great , all the best apps notability in itunes and lecturenotes in android has these features ,thats the only reason that i find these number one .... and rest of them not winning , TURNING PAGES IS FOR REAL BOOKS NOT MOBILE DEVICES ....

I think about this almost every time I use this app. I would much rather prefer this type of scrolling. It is really the only complaint I have with the app!
