Scroll PDF vertically
It is nice to be able to go to the next page going down instead of going left. It would also be nice if scrolling down to the next page continuous without jumping to the next page, so you can see the bottom of one page and the top of the next page.
Vertical scrolling is supported in GoodNotes 5. It can be set in the … menu of a document or in the document settings.

Please, please add more folder organization options WITHIN subcategories in your next update. I have so many classes/units in medical school and it becomes difficult to organize documents, even with subcategories. It is a huge downfall of this app and I am considering switching because I need to have more organization of my documents/notes, however I really like this app.
Also vertical scrolling, which was promised years ago I have noticed.
Thank you!

A whole year passed. So when would this feature be finished?

Drawing inclined lines with the shape recognition tool is almost imossible when the line is drawn close to the vertical or the horizontal plane (say 89° or 1°). Goodnotes always changes the line to a vertical or a horizontal line. You could add a line tool that draws the line between two points.

When can we expect it to be done?

Seriously how can you not have vertical scroll?! Monzo, applied, got a banking license and then got Apple Pay quicker than you guys could implement a basic feature like vertical scrolling. Considering nothing else on the app is getting better, what are you guys doing?! Seriously pissed I paid..

Could you please give an indication for your timeline implementing vertical scrolling? The post that you are working on this is now almost a year old. This seems to be a trivial and totally standard feature. Having no vertical scrolling is why I generally do not fully recommend GoodNotes to my friends. In fact, I am considering dumping GoodNotes alltogether for this reason.

The shape tool snaps to horizontal and verticals, ignoring subtle angles on occasions. Please make snapping a optional feature of the shape tool, while otherwise completing straight lines by an approximation of start to finish (however it normally satisfies a line or shape).

Please add this feature. It's very useful for doing some mathematical derivations.

I am using GoodNotes for more than 4 years, and every time a new update comes, I expect to see the continuous scrolling as an option.
I think it's a must have option for most of the note takers and could be a deal breaker.
Looking forward to this option. -

I have to create a document containing several pictures taken by the device's camera. I wish to be able to resize multiple pictures to the same width / heigth and to align them horizontally / vertically on the page-

I have to agree with the guys here. I used Notability just because of the continuous scrolling and the way the page fits in the iPad without having to do it manually. Also the squares are more accommodated. I would use Goodnotes if these features are added because it offers a lot more than Notability when it comes to writing and quick sketches. But the rest makes me go to Notability because I write a lot as well as study a lot and it doesn't to review my notes in 2 parts.

Japanese language can be written not only horizontally but vertically.
In vertical writing lines proceed from the right end to the left end on the page.
We scroll to the left to proceed to a subsequent page, which is opposite to the default scroll direction of Good Notes.
We want vertical scrolling. -
