I think the app has increasingly become too focused on being like digital paper and less like a note taking app. The continuous vertical scrolling is a pro that real notebooks don't have but digital note taking apps can have. Like penultimate, and notability, goodnotes should have that too. More, the printing of pdfs from notes should be improved in the way that, if I choose to print in white canvas it should center my notes, as penultimate and notability do.

All things said, if I had to say it in one word what is missing from the app and making me go notability more is the "flow" of note taking in goodnotes. The lasso tool is what keeps me using it for pdfs because no other app has one as good as goodnotes's.

Please add vertical scroll so that I can switch from notability in my teaching use.

This is the best app. But I am really wanting to have both options for scrolling. A continuous scroll up and down with page breaks indicated are helpful for lecturing.

I use this app in teaching. Find notability more helpful with vertical scroll. But want this feature in GoodNotes 4. Please create this option. Love the product otherwise.

Oh my god! I switched to Notability for this reason but GoodNotes is better in every way! Besides the lack of vertical scrolling. It is so frustrating......
The dream of the paperless workflow is so close but this tiny little feature kills GoodNotes for me. I can't just rewrite a whole term just because i have to switch to another page.
Please dear GoodNotes team! This idea is here since almost 4 years!

Please add this feature! It is totally impracticable to copy the last line of an equation every time you switch to the next page.

I also use Notability for this sole reason. Goodnotes is better in every other way, but I can't get over not being able to scroll vertically. Horizontal scrolling not something you "get used to", it's just inconvenient.

I can't understand why this still isn't implemented....
This is such an important feature and crucial to my use in my mechanical engineering classes!

I switched to Notability because of this feature...studying from notes one page at a time is a pain. Being able to see more than one page on the screen at once and vertical scrolling cancels out the other features GoodNotes has, which is too bad because it is more feature rich. This is obviously a necessary feature that many want. I hope the development team listens and reconsiders their stance.

Please please please consider this...as a teacher, this would be an amazing addition to what is already the best and most used app on my ipad... :)

Yes, but as a continuous pages, so you do not have to swipe for a new page and so that you become able to write with auto foreward to the end of a page and go on on the next one.
