Have an option to disable the blue rectangle feature (when zoomed in)
I find this more irritating than convenient, often times I write on the right side of the screen, but the blue box blocks the earlier part of what I was writing, so if I ever need to edit something I need to close the box.

The setting should be there for GoodNotes 5 now, document editing>auto advance> toggle off

To enable/disable auto-advance: From the document view, open the More menu (...) in the top-right corner > Document Editing, and toggle the "Auto Advance" setting.

Just turn the „Auto-Advance“ off and you’re good

I agree is there a way I can get rid off it ?

It seems that the setting has disappeared in the 5th version, and the blue rectangle is really annoying. I reaaly need a way to remove it.

Hi, how do you delete this from the most recent version of this app. I find the blue box incredibly annoying while taking notes and I cannot find it on the document editing page. thanks

You can disable it by turning off "Auto-Advance" from the zoom window settings. Screenshot: http://www.goodnotesapp.com/support/zoom-window-settings.png
