GoodNotes 5: Dropbox and GoogleDrive auto pdf backup
Please reintroduce the GoodNotes 4 ability to upload the pdf version of the file in google drive and dropbox in the new 5 version. It is very useful for sharing notes with other people and to open it on the pc. In particular now without an app for the mac for GoodNotes 5.
Automatic backup is now available in GoodNotes 5.4. You can update to the latest version on the App Store. Instructions, information, and answers to frequently asked questions about auto-backup can be found here: https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001282956

As an engineering student who works mostly on Linux or Windows machines, I seriously need to have this feature. It's frustrating to export every document manually after every little change and then share using mail or whatever. Don't assume that every iPad user also has an iPhone and a Mac. We users come from different backgrounds and works and would appreciate a hassle-free solution for the auto-backup problem (instead of iCloud).

Amen to this! I'm still using GoodNotes 4 because 5 doesn't have this ability. I need to save the telecoms & meeting notes I've written in GN to my PC at work... I need the auto PDF upload/download ability! Even manual PDF downloads would work. This is critical!!

I chose Goodnotes over Notability thinking that I would be able to backup my notes on Google Drive. It turns out that the feature was removed from Goodnotes 5.
I would really like to see it return though, as I also own a system running Windows.

At this rate, I’m never going to get around to using v5 since without this feature, I cannot transition. I have a multi-platform ecosystem, so it’s crucial. And with GN4 presumably not getting support for side screen in iPadOS 13, I may have to leave completely and jump over to Noteshelf.

I can't agree more with this request. This feature was available in the previous version of Goodnotes. Really, just the possibility to have automatically PDF files somewhere in Dropbox.
thanks!

I don't think anyone at Goodnotes reads these comments honestly.
I bought GN 5 in preference over notability because of the ease of using and thinking that it backed to Google Drive, not knowing that it was not going to work I tried the back up and well it came up with all these weird zip files that I could not open.
When is the update or the "fix" gong to come out? Like mentioned before why release a product that you know has a very popular feature and not added to the new version? Oh yes greed, maybe?
