Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

absolutely agree 100%. This is the year 2020 and you can't password protect a digital document? I share my iPad with my kids, and I want to create a diary in Goodnotes that I do not wish to share with anyone. I want them to use Goodnotes on my iPad but keep some things secret. Why can't I do this?

I have been using GoodNotes for many years now and loving it. However, in my work I have to protect clients' personal data and issues. A password protection will help immensely. Due to the lack of password protection, I have recently been forced to use GoodReader Pro. I would much rather use GoodNotes than other apps, since I truelly believe it is the best productivity app.

This is a must, I really need this to organise all my documents- specially the private ones, as I am planning to go on digital all-out.

And to be specific... I want my notebook to be ENCRYPTED using the password — not just a block in user interface. If someone gets hold of my computer, or data from my iCloud sync, I want the notebook to remain private.

I passed on good notes 4 years ago because their wasn’t a lock feature. Just checked out GoodNotes 5 thinking for sure there would be one now. But no there isn’t. This is unacceptable. You know this is important feature being requested and don’t care to take the time to implement it. So I will be moving on again to something else that does. Such a shame.

Trying to figure out why this isn't implemented. This is a HUGE omission.
