Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

Isn't it about time this was a standard feature? This is one feature that is making me choose other notes apps over yours!

OMG What an absolutely appalling company | app - I just checked and you people at GoodNotes should be ashamed of yourselves - dating back to March 2013 more than 3300 customers have asked for you to implement password protection
And you have failed dismally to deliver a simple important requirement even with good notes 5
You totally suck
I hope you crash and burn wish I never paid you a dime

I'd like to add my support for this feature, especially as I use GoodNotes for both personal and professional work. At the moment, I am much more likely to use other apps for personal or sensitive work and have to move between programs. For me, it would be most useful to be able to password protect (or better yet, 2FA protect) specific notebooks, but it would be acceptable to simply protect the whole app.

Please add this feature in the next update. I am starting to run therapy sessions, and it will be essential to have my folder locked for privacy reasons...

Please add password protection as an option in 2020. This needs to happen as it’s been on your possible options for over two years. Please do it!

This feature is key for me, especially since I journal in GoodNotes and don’t want anyone whose using my iPad to be able to read it!

Password protection on notes would be a great idea! that some notes may remain private.

Please add this option. Otherwise anyone who has access to iPad can see and read all notes and there's no way to keep private notes. This feature would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for considering.

I assumed the ability to protect a notebook/folder with a password would be included with this app. Disappointed to hear that it isn’t. Hope it can be implemented soon, there is obviously enough of a demand for it.
