Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

1. Password protection for opening GoodNotes app
2. Password protection for separate documents only
3. FaceID/TouchID for both of the above -

I use this app for journaling so it would be nice to keep my personal entries protected from deletion or from prying eyes.

There seems to be lot of interest in password protection here. I’m finding it necessary as well.

This was marked "Planned" - and then ignored - almost 3 years ago. Not going to happen.

I will be changing apps if passwords aren't a new feature really soon!

Lets get this moving. This is a super simple and absolutely necessary feature. Right now anything I write in my notes or journal notebooks is open for anyone who uses my iPad. Think that through real quick and maybe you’ll see why it is pretty silly you guys don’t have this already. Get it done or my family, 5+ liscenses, will be moving on by May 2019. Notability, Omenote and several others have had this since day one.

Wow I wouldn’t have purchased if I knew it didn’t have this feature. It’s so common who would’ve thought it wouldn’t be an option. Thumbs down.

BUMP! This is needed and should float to the top of the to-do list for feature enhancements. I have thought about switching to another app because of this (lack of) feature.

Hello,
It looks like password protection for notebooks has been requested since 2013! Also it looks like its been "planned" since 2014 or 2015. Is this really coming or should we stop hoping for it? Notability does it and I could use it but I like your app much, much better. Please add this soon! I would like to render Notability to just a reading app! It really is a necessary feature in 2019. Thank you.

I am adding my vote to the need to protect selected notebooks with a password. Thank you for your consideration of this request.
