Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

This should be enabled by default. In iOS, TouchID and FaceID should be offered! It's hard to believe it is not already.

Goodnotes is GREAT! Password (fingerprint) implementation is crucial for my work. Please ad this feature as competitors have.
Also, search capabilities would be much more powerful if they worked through all notebooks from the home page not just within a specific notebook. For example, if I am looking for a quote or specific item but am not sure which of 10 notebooks has the quote, I would need to open each one individually and search. It would be much more useful to search all notebooks at the same time.
THANKS FOR THE GREAT PRODUCT -

I would like to keep confidential notes but would need to password protect them. This is an important feature for me.

Let me explain why password protection is important for me:
It isn't about security as much as it's about privacy.
On notability, I have separate folders for school and personal notes. The personal section is password protected. That way, while I'm sharing notes in class, private notebooks don't "accidentally" pop up while scrolling through.
It's obviously not something that needs to be encrypted like medical or tax documents. More like to-do lists and notes to myself.

Yes! Please as an option at Startup. Only with Touch ID / Face ID the App can be opened (optional as setting) AND the same Feature for separate Notes (like Password Protection in Apple Notes)
