Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

Please add this with the very next upgrade! I don't feel comfortable adding my personal finances in GoodNotes until I have a password to protect it.

I use this as a journal, terrible that there is no password protect. Time to move apps.

Please add this feature.
When it comes to diary, privacy matters most, so the password or face lock are really important. -

If ever this gets of the ground, developers should be sure to create a master-reset option. One password to rule them all, so to speak.
I use GoodNotes for a high school English classroom, and the ability to lock individual folders would be a much needed addition; but this would also entail the need to override a password lock for the students who invariably forget their credentials.

This feature is extreme important for me and will make the difference in my considerations to further make use of GoodNotes or switch to a different App.
Selective Password protection is essential!
With all the user requests, do you see a roadmap for adding this feature?
Thanks a lot! -

This is the one feature that is making me regret buying GoodNotes. Love the functionality of the app but need it to be secure and can’t do that

Yep. Thinking on moving to other apps. Anyone can access diary or planner without password sucks.

This would be handy. I think the app in general along with notebook specific locks would be great!
Business docs vs. personal docs - like a personal journal could have different Pws. Could be numerical or text. -

Please, add lock. This is one of the important feature I need. I guess we all need.

I doubt Goodnotes cares.. They seem to do as they please, regardless, the ios/M1 macbook air version is worse than the ipad version 4 on my old ipad.. I still use the old version as it is far better than the most recent version.. Goodnotes refuse to update.

I really think we need that specially when its on ios where we can not put third party locks , please launch it ASAP… I don’t feel my notes/journal or anything is safe here, i m sure rest of the people believe the same.
