Password protect
It would be great if you had an option to password protect a selected notebook in case you have to create one that would contain sensitive information.
Introducing Password Protection for your documents
To lock a document, tap on the context menu for the document in the library view and set a password. Anytime you try to open, export, duplicate, or delete the document, Goodnotes will ask you for the set password. If you’re using a device that supports FaceID or TouchID, you can use these instead of your password to unlock a document. Please note that you can have only one password that will apply to all locked notebooks and that Password Protection is only available in Goodnotes 6. Learn more
Update to version 6.4.2 in App Store to use Password Protection.

Yes please. I use this app for both personal and work files that require some level of confidentiality. Thanks!

I would like to secure my notes with a password, since I sometimes let others use my tablet.

I would ideally like my students to only have access to the keyboard so that they don't become distracted by some of the other features.

with latest note app coming with password protection, OR security scanning your fingerprint using the iphones fingerprint scanner! Please, it's absolutely needed at this point.

Any traction on this idea? I would really like to do this.

I would like to be able to add passwords to folders but it seems previous suggestions to add this feature have not led to changes in the app, why not?

It seems like the idea of having the possibility to password lock has been here for a while and nothing was done. It's important to be able to have a password to start the app and also to have specific passwords for specific docs (user should be able to protect each file or not).

This seems easy to be done and still no update on this apparently. It's essential to protect both when you open the app and some specific files. One should be able to choose specific passwords for specific docs
