100% agree! It’s a huge pain having to change colors all the time! Love goodnotes way more than OneNote but 3 colors of pens does not work at all.

On OneNote I have 14 different colored pens and highlighters up top. GoodNotes is superior to one note in almost every way except this one. I color code my notes, so I am forced to used one note. If I were to try and color code using goodnotes, it would take me hours longer because there are so many extra clicks to get to the correct color of pen or highlighter. Having more color options up top and allowing both pens and highlighters in the menu bar like one note would be amazing.

There is plenty of room up there, changing pen thickness is not important enough to have that much space up top, other colors are. But honestly there is plenty of room for more colors, you could just shift the thickness all the way to the right and the other menu options all the way to the left and have room for 10 more colors.

Somebody else mentioned being able to add more of what you need and get rid of what you don’t use. A “scalable interface” I think, someone else said.

Tl;dr
More colors up top, ability to add tools/colors we need and hide those we don’t from toolbar. Useful for color coding and saving SO much time switching colors or tools.

100% agree! PLEASE add more space for colors like OneNote has. I would much rather use goodnotes but having only 3 color options is a huge pain. There is plenty of space to allow more colors. Please consider this seriously. thank you

This could go along with the option to have a CUSTOMIZABLE TOOLBAR. To allow us to choose the amount of "ready-to-use" colors are in the toolbar.

Couldn’t agree more. This is an essential thing when writing for me. It would be great if GoodNotes could do this for quick and easy swap of colours

Yes, This is so useful. I normally use Black, Red, Green and Blue. At present, we are limited by 3.
This should not only be available in ZOOM section, but also in the regular area right above.

ZoomNotes, Flexcil, have multiple options available and they are so quick to switch over.
Adding 3 itself was great in GoodNotes 5, compared to none in GoodNotes 4.

I sometimes use more than 3 colors and I would like to have a feature, to add more colors circles to the tool bar. As you can see in the picture, the tool bar leaves plenty of space for more circles. Maybe you can add those by using drag-and-drop out of the window, which opens by tapping the arrow of the selected color-circle.

You have given us access to 3 additional colors, I would like to have a minimal of 8-10 accessible colors on the zoom in bar when writing. I color code while taking notes and although 3 is a great start we should be able to add as many colors allowed on this tool bar area. Please see attach file below
