[Outline] Sub-Outlines / Tabs / Navigation in the notes
When I import some PDFs their outlines are imported too. I love this feature. I have noticed that when this happens, the outlines have sub-outlines to make navigating the outlines easier.
However, I can not create this in my own GoodNotes outlines. It only works when I import a PDF that already has this structure built into it.
I would like to have a feature in GoodNotes where I can create sub-outlines in my notebooks.

Sub-outlines will be available very soon.
Stay tuned for updates!

Dears,
I am a really satisfied user of GoodNotes5, but I really think that the app would be so much better if you allow the customers to create their personalized subsections of any file they are reading. As of today it is only possible to create Sections in the table of contents but there is no way to create Subsections which would allow users to navigate in a more structured way through their notes.

The ability to create chapters/sections within a notebook. You could add as many pages as you wanted to each chapter/section and the chapter/section could have a name. It would make organizing and finding things in notebooks so much easier, especially for students.

Please add this! I want to just use this app but I’ve had to also use Noteful for anything with outlines because it has this feature!

Please add this! If imported documents can have sub-outlines why can't we add sub-outlines in our own documents?

I have a note over 300 pages and I tend to add outliner on every single page. I have to scroll down from top all the way down to bottom every time. How am I gonna survive this? Please!!!! Goodnotes!!

I can’t believe this is not implemented, after all this time! I’m legit considering switching over to Notability, it’s too difficult to navigate large notebooks efficiently!

Hello, I would like to give goodnotes a suggestion. Can we add a second or multi-level heading to the goodnotes outline, which will allow us to find the target page more efficiently. At present, it is really inconvenient to only achieve a first-level title, and it is hoped that it will be adopted.

Yea this feature is needed for good working space for students like me.
They also have to fix the creation and implementation of their Outlines.
This should not be so difficult to include something like outlines sorted by page numbers.Look at my example of one German university class where we get PDFs with some integrated Outlines I am not able to reorganize them so it is completely useless now.
(I also integrated them one by one. Started with the first... But they keep swapping places in the Outline menu)
Also the in the Outline menu shown pre-integrated Outlines do not show up in the tab where you see all included pages...
I hope you could get the problem...

Since some PDFs do not come with their "table of contents" already made, it would be incredibly helpful to be able to create an outline that has sub-sections that can be collapsed. Such as a long textbook with multiple sections each having multiple chapters - would love to be able to easily see the section titles and then expand each as needed to see each chapter within. The textbooks that come with this already made are so nice and it would be nice to be able to do this not only with PDFs but also with my hand written notebooks.
