I agree ! I miss a ruler so much ! I use a plastic one but it’s slippery and so not very precise plus I’m scared of damaging my screen in the end

So please, please do something about that !

Ruler is a great idea but I am NOT in favor of pen angle. I like that it just ignores it. If that feature was added, I really hope it would be optional.

Many Teachers at my school use Goodnotes as their primary Tool as a Replacement for the old classroom board. What we math teachers miss so much is a possibility to view the ruler on the beamer image like in the Notes App from Apple. The students need to see a ruler or a triangle ruler so that they can follow the teacher properly. There is no other App that does that. SO GO FOR IT! The Teachers around the world are waiting for this! I also vote up the ruler and options on the pencil. I like making detailed drawings and having a ruler and snap would make this a killer app.

Ruler and protractor support within the same note, not as Apple notes where the graphical element is integrated as a sketch.
This will allow the drawing of full diagrammatic sketches, plans, dimensions coupled with handwritten notes ready to be emailed or saved within the one single document.
As part of the diagrammatic element - being able to quickly added arrowed lines and then add hand written text will speed up annotation when sending documents to colleagues with comments.

The Apple notes app and some Adobe apps recognize the angle in which the Apple pencil is lead over the surface of the iPad and changes the stroke width depending on that angle,
Furthermore the ruler feature of Apple notes would be helpful to aim at a certain point drawing lines. Especially drawing graphs would be easier in this way.

Please add this! I use GoodNotes to take notes in maths and this would make my life a hell of a lot easier. A ruler and protractor. If that's not possible then could you put a lock on the page? What I mean is a lock to stop the page moving while I'm trying to use a real protractor or ruler on the page and I accidentally hit the screen with my finger and it moves so I don't get the precise measurement I want.
